Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible

Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

I'm so sick of these deals. I never have a trade in worth anything and bill credits are a scam.
You're an idiot. At the end of the day, the bottom line makes the phone cheaper than what you would have paid out pocket full price for one. I was in the phone industry for 4 years. Math is math and numbers don't lie. You're the type of customer that would still complain if the phone was free

What's so unreasonable about always buying the $99 Android phones and expecting $500+ trade in value? LMAO

You can't please everyone. This deal offers significant trade in value for even the old iPhones so I think it's a good one. I'll be ordering at least two iPhones w/the +$200 loyalty rebate on each.

this seems to be right. in 2018, for the iphone xr, the bill credits were for 36 months, and the rep confirmed that i would lose the credit from 2018 if i choose to participate in a new trade in promo
Quote from Vs444 :
That's confusing. From my understanding with Sprint, it would just be $500/24 or 30 months and that's the bill credit amount you'd receive each month.
So I confirmed with T-Force that if I pay off my EIP within 24 months and then upgraded - I would still keep the promo credits for 30 months - but if my EIP was not paid off, he specifically mentioned if I used JUMP to get a new phone (or maybe the iPhone upgrade program which allows you to upgrade in 1 year as long as you've paid off 50% of your iPhone) -- then I would not qualify to continue getting the credits. This makes sense to me, but I guess we'll see.

The trade in credit vs. bill credits is confusing - but that is the way T-Mobile does it (might be different for Sprint customers), and I prefer it this way since you don't have to divide the entire $500 over 30 months - you are just taking the difference between the trade in value and the $500 and dividing that over 30 months. Would you rather they pay you now, or pay you later? For me, I'd get $361 right away and $139 divided over 30 months. That is better to me than $500 divided over 30 months.

You can see what you'd get trade in value wise using this link: https://www.t-mobile.com/resource...e-trade-in

I can see why the iPhone 11 Pro 512GB and iPhone 11 Pro Max 256/512GB don't qualify - because their trade in values are >$500 so it doesn't make sense to use this promo for those phones.

T-Force (T-Mobile CS via Twitter) said this deal will apply to the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini when they are released in November - so I'd expect an update right before pre-orders start.

See, i mentioned that i paid off my phone already, and he said that its one trade in promo credit per line. He did offer to give me the rest of the 2018 trade in credit as a lump sum bill credit if they did not stack

You can't. Great way to get a phone. I'm surprised more don't do this. However, would be nice to get the iPhone (12 Pro Max in my case) a little cheaper when buying outright. Any idea if Apple gives any discounts on unlocked or branded phones during Black Friday or Holiday's if you pay in full? Even $100 discount would be a plus.
iwheela
The best option you have is to hope someplace does a Apple gift card deal. Then buy a bunch and then load into your Itunes account and then buy the phone from Apple. Target did a 14% off deal with red card and target gift card a few weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if that comes back again. Max is $2000 for itunes I think

Yes, I asked via twitter chat and was told simple choice qualifies for both offers.
