Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...

If I upgrade I have to do it before Xmas, because by the time January/February come around I might as well just wait for IPhone 12s/13 in September.

Interesting.

They would be out of business if that happened, it maybe a $200 rebate with new line/upgrade but even then there would have to be a limit/account...guess we just wait and watch.
I could possibly see that.....if you bought a 12 for each line.

"Trade in / turn-in a qualifying Apple iPhone in T-Mobile branded channels (Original iPhone through the 11 series) that was used on the network from August 2, 2020 - October 2, 2020 "
For the loyalty rebate, I don't get this part here. Is the trade in device was unlocked and purchased from apple quality for this?

Ok. I confirmed with Twitter rep the special $150 prepaid MasterCard promo when buying iPhone 12 in Apple retail store:

Perfect, thanks so much for the confirmation! Starting October 16, 2020, for a limited time, customers who purchase an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro and trade-in an eligible iPhone through http://apple.com or at an Apple Retail location can get an additional $150 off as a one-time Virtual Prepaid Mastercard card on top of the trade-in value provided to them by Apple.

In order to get this offer you would to purchase an iPhone 12 or 12 Pro at full retail price or with using apple financing either in a retail store or on http://Apple.com and you would also need to trade in an iPhone 8 or newer and I have the models listed down below for you.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max
iPhone SE 2020

Submit for rebate online (including receipt upload) at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ with promo code 2020APPLERETAILT1 within 30 days of purchase.

Rebate processes 30 days after submission is created and once approved you will receive a virtual card within 7 business days and this redeemable via SMS with a secure link to the reward.
I wish they had this posted somewhere official on their website. This deal works out better for me but I'm a little hesitant without seeing it on their website. I tried the promo code and it didn't work (probably because I don't have a new purchase tied to my account yet or it just isn't active yet). I'm going to preorder at 5AM PST tomorrow, so I may have to just hope that this is true and order from Apple w/trade-in rather than with T-mobile's bill credits promo.

Can someone confirm if as long as the main account is 5+ years then the years of the line you are actually upgrading does not matter? Wife's T-Mobile account is more than 5 years but my line on her account is only 3 years old. Someone on Reddit said it should work fine?

Umm. What? Overpriced? Compared to what? I pay $30 per line for magenta. And the deal I just saw for new customers was truly amazing. 2 pros. With unlimited for $100/month even. How is that overpriced. Especially for only a 2 line plan?
Not really that hot when people are on older plans with 5/6 lines for $100 . If you max out 4 iPhones then it would be a deal

Really, but T-Mobile iphone 12pro max pre order is 11/6. And all the ad only mention iPhone 12 and 12pro. Now I wonder. I'll confirm tomorrow when I go in to the store.
I went to the store yesterday rep did confirm that this is for all 4 models.

Basically if you get the deal through Costco, you are not stuck with the X months of billing credit, Costco issue a one time Visa gift card

Yeah, I think different circumstances. He said he activated 26 days ago, basically same time you joined, but it's now outside of the 14 day buyer's remorse period. BTW, which line(s) did you get the new S20FE on? Was thinking ok on lines 1,2, or free 3rd, but not on extra free 4th line if you got that as that promo ended day before FE pre-order. As I see it, during buyer's remorse they "cancel" the new line and then "reactivate it as new" to make it happen . Just curious if your situation was by the book or YMMV.
On a side note, a guy from Exec. office told me that my free line (expired promo) was still ok to upgrade with any phone deal that was active when that line was activated, even though it was well after 30 days active when I spoke with him.
i wonder the same too, if i opened a new account Magenta 4 lines on 9/29 with 4 port in, if i am still within 30 days active, wonder can i use the 1st and 2nd line for this I12 promo (new lines trade in for free)? my 3rd line is free, so not sure if can do on the 3rd line.

by the way, how can we contact/chat with Exec office if still has issue that 611/chat/tforce not able to resolve?

Thanks, will rep!

How does this work with the estimated trade in value? Do you get the initial trade in value up front?
For example I see $193 for an iPhone X in good condition.
Do I get the $193 immediately and then receive $415-$193 = 222 as a bill credit each month ($7.40 over 30 months)?
