Tmobile web site doesn't show the full (device) taxes unless you enter in names/phones etc. I assume the device tax (before discount/trade in) are not shown? Usually these are $90/device. Can someone confirm?

All I see are "Phone Line and taxes of $10.

To calculate it: sales tax in your city/100 x the full retail price of the phone you're trying to purchase.

Yup, thanks. I know the calculation, just wondering if it will tax me at full device price (as expected). Their checkout process isn't transparent, unless I provide details to them.

I ended up pulling the trigger. Traded in iPhone 8 64gb for $630 trade in for 12pro 128 Gb. No existing customer benefit. Got a military deal for 4 lines for price of 3 with magenta. So much better prices than verizon! I've saved 50% off Verizon bill and added a iPhone 12 pro and Netflix for 4 screens. All over 30 months. We were going to switch to T-Mobile before this promotion.

Lol... Thought it was a typo in wiki. $380 for iPhone 6s when you add a new line?? Few weeks ago, I traded in iPhone 6s for $800 off on iPhone 11 pro by adding a new line (free line on us). Going from 7 plus to 11 pro was a big jump. Very happy about it.

iPhone 11 pro: $1000+ tax
iPhone 6S: $50 from total wireless
iPhone 6S trade in: -$800
AT&T eBay: $5
Total: ~$350

Definitely waiting for a better Costco or tmobile deal to trade in my iPhone 7 plus and get 12 pro.

Yes, but..., for the best experience, you want to pick the iPhone models that is compatible with all or most of the bands that your carrier uses since carriers uses different bands for 5 G. It's like buying a car drive can be driven on interstate highways but not state highways or local roads

Does everyone see the promo trade in value at checkout when upgrading existing line?

Asking this because multiple people in the thread reported that they see the promo trade in value at checkout.

I am using a verzion iphone x with my account, it did not automatically fill the model, imei at checkout. After entering all the details I got a trade in value of $193 instead of the promo $415.
