Let's hope Costco matches and the iPhone 7 or even the 6s are eligible
Yeah, I can see T-mobile scheming now on the terms:
Add 3 lines of Magenta only, requires 36 months of bill credits, trade-in iPhone X or higher and one major organ ...
Hoping for iPhone 12 Mini promos.

they give you an instant credit of $55 in this case, and the rest would be applied as bill credits

I cancelled a line less than 90 days ago. Based on the terms I would not qualify for the $200 loyalty credit because of this. The T-Mobile agent I'm talking to says that's only for sprint customers. Can anyone confirm this?

So can anyone confirm if after trade-in they give you an instant credit on the Device amount or it goes towards the bill?

Being on a family plan will be a mess to figure out who go what credit.

they give you a one time 'on the spot' credit for whatever they think the price is worth of your trade in.

The rest of the total value goes through bill credits.

Anyone get a trade-in assessment value on the order status screen lower than what was originally assessed?

I'm trading in my 256GB iPhone 7 and it's showing this instead of the $300:

TRADE-IN ASSESSMENT
Original estimated value:$55.00
Assessment and the offer makes no sense
I am getting $420 for the 11 Pro while should be getting $500.

Okay so that credit pays off the voice lines etc. not goes towards the device EIP right?

correct, it goes on the actual bill

I did these types of trade ins before and it takes it off the voice line monthly plan.
I could see it being an inconvenience if you are on a family plan with others who pay every month.

I am in the same boat as you...my 90 days will be up on 10/27 ...I think because Pro Max does not come out soon..this offer might be going on for a bit and I might be able to order after that date..

I'm curious about this as well. I do see that all of yesterdays promos and offers are showing today on the T-Mobile promos page. When active, the Costco promos usually show in the "Current Rebate Promotions" section towards the bottom.

Sorry if this has been answered before, i have 4 lines on simple choice grandfathered plan....2 of those lines are not used much. So if i add 2 lines trading in 2 iphone 6 and cancel the 2 old lines that i dont use, can i get $380 per line that i add?

Although you get more "money" back through T-Mobile dealing with all the credits and what would be a headache. So Apple is probably the bets for me.

It appears that for upgrade with trade-in on T-mobile website, one has to do check out one phone at a time. Is that right? Can anyone confirm? Thanks.... it's a little annoying when you have 6 phones

Rep was mistaken. This promo has no plan requirement language.
Depends which promo you are talking about. The "up to $500 with trade in" has no plan requirement, but the $200 loyalty has:

Plus, eligible customers (business customers, too!) who have been with T-Mobile, including Sprint, for 5+ years can get a $200 rebate on any new iPhone when they trade or turn in any active iPhone on an eligible plan. This can be combined with the $500 off deal.

I talked to their support and my account is not eligible for the loyalty deal even though I have been with T-Mo for 5+ years.
