Eero secure or Secure+ 50% off 12 month subscription

Eero is running a promo to get 50% off the yearly subscription to their secure or secure+ service. I had to do this via their website instead of their app. I was able to cancel my current 12 month secure subscription and click upgrade to secure+ entered the promo code OCTOBER at checkout to knock the due today $99 to $45.50 after checking out. I received an email for the actual charge of $38 due to getting credit for the remaining months of the normal secure service I had. I am not sure if the system would catch it if you do not cancel before upgrading from secure to secure+. At first I tried to do it without cancelling and it was counting the months till renewal and the next $99 charge from my original sign up day in February instead of today. I Didnt want to risk it, upon cancelling and then upgrading it was showing the 1/2 price due today and $99 due in 12 months (October 2021).

tried to sign up for secure. i am not in bridge mode, and am in the US. but it says i am not eligible???

I don't see a huge benefit to Eero Secure+ other than getting Malwarebytes. Ad blocking can be achieved through DNS or browser add-ons like UBlock Origin. The VPN they offer isn't a real VPN; it's masking your IP with a static IP and isn't meant for streaming content from other countries.

My trial was ending soon anyways so this was perfect timing. I went with the plus so that I can the password manager. I have to use a dedicated one for work and I like being able to securely store them for personal use as well.

I also currently have Secure+ at half price.... and will take advantage of this to effectively renew like OP did. Because EERO doesn't let you use a discount code on renewal.

For half price I think Secure+ is a great deal

Yes I love the inclusion of 1Password. I've used 1P for a long time for my password manager, using Dropbox for the syncing. One Eero+ came along I used it to switch to 1P subscription and it makes life even easier.

I assume this is expired? There is a NOVEMBER20 promo code but it's only 20%.
