This is more for the single guy like me! $400 for pots and pans that I use 2-3-4 times a year is a waste!

I highly recommend getting a single, much nicer pan for $20 and learning to cook. You wont stay single and you won't die from whatever recycled waste these might be made of to hit this price point.

Probably as safe as all the T-Fal/Farberware honestly.
I agree spending a little more for something a little better. I have had good success with the Red Copper stuff, so far 2 years in, no warps, comparing with the mentioned two brands I have owned.

I agree a set like this is not worthwhile. Walmart had a bunch of cookware on clearance a few years ago right at the time I could have used a temp throw/give away set. One of them (which I did not buy) was a very similar if not exact set (but in red or gray) as this for $9. Besides the expected thin and cheap feel, the sizes are just too odd. Too small for anything more than 1 or 2 people...and if you take the rarely cooks single person viewpoint as mentioned, the small odd sizes still get you as those skillet meals and such that someone like that would probably cook usually need at least a 10" relatively deep skillet, so that 9" in this set would end up uncomfortably full, for example.

I as well think one is better off with just 2 or 3 decent pans than a full cheap odd sized set like this.

I was a cook in the Army. Took cooking classes for 8 week so I know how to cook well! I've remained single all my life (never lived with any lady either) at 71. Think that will last till I pass away. Stopped dating in 2010.

If you are in college and know you and your roommates are going to trash them, they're worth it. If you are on your own, invest in something just a bit better and you will get more out of your money.

At 71 I'm still single....never married/lived with any lady. I took 8 weeks of cook school in the Army...above average at cooking.
