Has anyone had these can give opinion?

The Macys Tools of the Trade set goes on sale at $30 and it is the cheapest teflon-coated tin trash that could easily be rebranded as a Melissa and Doug childrens toy. I fear how bad a $20 set could be...

So i thought of that as well last year when I was buying a play kitchen for my kiddos. But I realized even the smallest pots in these sets would be far too big for a toddler to handle and too big for the mini burners the pretend sets have.

Stop buying non-stick…

"PFAS are found in a wide range of consumer products that people use daily such as cookware, pizza boxes and stain repellants. Most people have been exposed to PFAS. Certain PFAS can accumulate and stay in the human body for long periods of time. There is evidence that exposure to PFAS can lead to adverse health outcomes in humans. The most-studied PFAS chemicals are PFOA and PFOS. Studies indicate that PFOA and PFOS can cause reproductive and developmental, liver and kidney, and immunological effects in laboratory animals. Both chemicals have caused tumors in animals. The most consistent findings are increased cholesterol levels among exposed populations, with more limited findings related to:

low infant birth weights,
effects on the immune system,
cancer (for PFOA), and
thyroid hormone disruption (for PFOS)."

Are made in China and slightly more expensive than scanpan but I appreciate the recommendation, I am curious about them.

Q: Are your pans free of PTFE?

A: Our pans are PFOA free but contain some PTFE. PTFE is in over 95% of all nonstick cookware including our ceramic-based nonstick. PTFE is safe and inert. In fact, it is used in surgical matches meshes, dental implants and heart stents which are all implanted in the body. We do not use PFOA chemicals and other chemicals that gave many other nonstick pans a bad name. Why do we use some PTFE? Sadly, non-PTFE nonstick cookware does not work well for long periods of time. In fact, in our tests, the largest non-PTFE nonstick in the world only held up for 45 minutes of consecutive use.

Tramontina is a brand here from the south of Brasil. For that price is a good deal, but keep in mind that they are very thin. So, depending on what you're cooking (any meat, for example), it's better to have a thicker pan to keep the pan's temperature when you put in any food. I recommend the stainless steel Tramontina Solar line with triple base (it's way more expensive, I know).

this is the poorest quality cookware i have ever seen. Bought one 2 days ago and returned that next day. Macy tool of trade is much better.

Completely different price range, but I've been slowly replacing my broke ass college pots and pans w All Clad brand, food cooks better, easy to clean, and they're so pretty, but yes they cost about $100 a pan but Will last your lifetime...
