I wonder if you could combine these 2 deals. Then a few days later upgrade to Plus for $60 more using the Chase 30% offer, making the complete deal $45 total, unless you get another $30 cb from sams, then it would only be $15 total for Plus membership

Sams new Regular membership: $50
Sams CB: -$30
Amex CB: -$15
CB Site: 12% of $50 new membership = -$6
Membership/Account creation allows for online Chat assistance. Start chat, be polite, advise of current offers and that you intended to sign up for Plus membership but there was no option to split payment, so you decided to use the 1st card to get regular membership and 2nd card to upgrade to Plus membership. Get Rep to agree to issue manual $30 cash back, then upgrade to Plus. Be sure to copy the chat transcript/ticket number.
Sams upgrade to Plus membership: $60
Sams CB: -$30
Chase CB: 30% of $60 = -$18

Grand total OOP = $11
