If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

Trying to decide between a XR, or an 11, for just an extra $100. Seems the battery is better enough to warrant the upgrade? (Also bionic 13, vs bionic 12)?

If you take photos, "night mode" was added on the 11.

Right now I use Cricket on a locked AT&T iPhone SE 1st generation.
I'm xfinity internet customer.
Can I get a iphone 12 and new phone number from xfinity and pay 3 month of $15 and get the $250 discount, and have new phone unlocked, then put my Cricket SIM card to iPhone 12?
They Pay 250 discount in 24 Installments right? So in 3 months you might save only $33

The company is garbage services are garbage and other support agents don't know crap FYI I worked there for 6 1/2 years I wouldn't touch anything from them just saying ... even if it was free. Slow speeds , intermittent connectivity. Don't let them get you ..

I've dealt with customer support for Xfinity Mobile and they've actually impressed me every time. It took a long time to resolve my issues (activate service, change phones on my account from old to new one, and linking Xfinity Internet account with Mobile), but they eventually fixed everything. Also, when I went into my local Xfinity, the girl not only was able to link my accounts, but she was able to change my Xfinity TV/Internet plan to a cheaper one with free HBO.

Xfinity Internet customer service is meh. Connectivity issues and like you described, but Xfinity Mobile has done a great job at keeping me happy.

I had ok service, but their billing software/etc. sucked, plus they allowed me to put in a phone that I bought on eBay and unbeknownst to me was not paid off by another xfinity customer and it wasn't until I went to port out (Redpocked was cheaper for more data) that they noticed it and let me know this. They marked my phone stolen so it was unusable. Fortunately Apple store didn't check/care so I was able to trade it in for a newer iPhone. To this day (almost two years later) they are still telling me I owe them like 6 bucks for a partial month, which was about a day of me trying to activate that old phone on a new line before they told me it was stolen and so I told them to just cancel everything since they couldn't activate my line and now they're telling me this about the phone. The 6 bucks was charged to my account because a month after I told them to cancel everything the line finally activated and gave me a phone number of 999-999-9999 and put it on no phone. I've called them the day I saw that happened, and two times since to tell them and they said oh yes, I see that this is a mistake so we'll remove that. Oh well, they don't have a valid CC for me so they'll never see those $6.

I even tried asking how much was owed so I could consider paying it off and they said only the original owner could get that info and pay it off. Well guess what, the eBay seller disappeared. Never buying a new model used phone on eBay just in case, and never using xfinity mobile again.

Xfinity mobile is pretty fantastic tbh.

$15 per GB. There's also a few tiered plans, $30/3GB, $60/10GB. Or unlimited for $45.

Which, in my experience beats all other carriers.

I basically never go over 1GB (especially not this year 🥺). So my bill comes out to about $16.

Signed up for an upgrade.

Yes, for $100 you get a newer version which is faster, better battery life and better camera as someone else pointed out ... my order of XR is being shipped ... wish I could go back on it and buy 11 instead.

People need to stop saying that XM has lower priority than Verizon. It hasn't been the case since the gen3 plans launched earlier this year. If you haven't switched to a gen3 plan, you're still being deprioritized all of the time but you can migrate to the new plans through the website or app.

Verizon has two priority levels - QCI 8 which only goes to their postpaid, Xfinity Mobile, and Spectrum Mobile and QCI 9 which goes to everything else. Spectrum actually details this in their terms: "Quality of Service (QoS). Spectrum Mobile Service customers' data traffic is prioritized ahead of data traffic not marked for prioritization on our MNP's network." <- what that means is that all Spectrum traffic is ahead of all of Verizon's traffic except traffic that is also marked as priority where they both become equal priority.

https://www.spectrum.com/policies/mobile-terms

Xfinity Mobile isn't as up front about it but if you look at the info on the By The Gig plan, it says that you'll have better service during times of network congestion. Unlimited requires the HD Pass to get priority.
Thanks for the info. Appreciate clarifying it and providing additional details. If this is true XM (or spectrum) is really the way to go if you are eligible.

My WiFi calls work fantastic. Our house has very bad in-house reception, but calls are very clear because they use WiFi.
Good to know. Looks like they have fixed it.
