If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

how old does a line have to be to qualify for the $250 prepaid card?
I'm wondering the same.

If a new account is setup and the person upgrades let's say a week later I wonder if the system will reject a rebate.

It's tempting, but I am with Verizon prepaid plan and pay a flat $40 a month for 15 GB of data . I buy refill cards from Target or eBay. No extra taxes and fees.

For Xfinity, does anyone know what the estimated taxes and fees come out to be each month ?

I pay less than two dollars per line in taxes and fees.

I ordered the Iphone 11 and the delivery date is one week after. There is a major delay by Fedex. If you have a concern about the billing cycle like me, you can consider the delivery date at least a week from the order date.

Yes, for $100 you get a newer version which is faster, better battery life and better camera as someone else pointed out ... my order of XR is being shipped ... wish I could go back on it and buy 11 instead.
Not only is it faster, the newer gen cpu will receive more iOS updates and most likely qualify for better trade in offers. Easy call for the additional $100 imo

So basically existing customers get a better deal since they get a rebate card instead of having a device credit for 24 months

Is there a similar cell service like Xfinity that offers shared data line plan for $15 a month for 1GB of data and no limit on text and calls?
Thanks Paul

I've dealt with customer support for Xfinity Mobile and they've actually impressed me every time. It took a long time to resolve my issues (activate service, change phones on my account from old to new one, and linking Xfinity Internet account with Mobile), but they eventually fixed everything. Also, when I went into my local Xfinity, the girl not only was able to link my accounts, but she was able to change my Xfinity TV/Internet plan to a cheaper one with free HBO.

Xfinity Internet customer service is meh. Connectivity issues and like you described, but Xfinity Mobile has done a great job at keeping me happy.
I'm glad I'm just looking out for you guys but glad you had a great experience

For those asking Xfinity is not a bad service at all. It helps to have existing service for the additional discount they provide (-$10). I have 5 lines open and I only pay $75 for service, not including phones leasing. $45 for unlimited on 1 line and the other 4 share 3 Gigs for $30 which I can increase as I please and quickly if they go over. 3 Gigs isn't alot but with everyone mostly at home, it's a no brainier.

It's not worth it, for me at least.

*If line is canceled, voluntarily or involuntarily, or device payments are accelerated, the remaining credits associated with device payments are lost.
That means you have to use Xfinity for 24 months to get full credit back.
If you want to switch out after 60 days(3 months), let's say you buy a iPhone 12 pro, you will have to pay:

$100 Device Taxes(YMMV) + $15*3 1GB-Plan-Fee + $31.25*3 Device-Payment(After Credit) + $41.66*21 Device-Payment(No Credit) + $2.73*3(Taxes, Fees, and Other Charges, YMMV) = $1121.80

Compare to my current plan from mint mobile and buy iPhone 12 pro in New from apple:
$100 Device Taxes(YMMV) + $999 Device-Payment + $20.01*3 8GB-Plan-Fee = $1159.03

Total saving is $37.23

If you want to stick with Xfinity mobile for 2 years, that's another story
