If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

When can i unlock the phone and is therr any penalty or do i just pai the full amount minus the $250 credit ??
You can unlock at 60 days. If you do the new customer deal you have to stay on the payment plan for 2 years to reap the full benefits.. If you leave before the 24 months you will be billed the 250.

If you are a current customer you can pay in full and leave after 90 days and still get your 250 prepaid card.

yeah seriously, i love xfinity mobile (hate my internet though). 60 bucks for 3 lines, 10 gigs shared and unlimited talk and text. you'd be hard pressed to beat that.
Probably closer to $68 after fees? Visible will get 3 lines of complete unlimited for 75.

I feel like the better deal here would be to transfer my Verizon phones to xfinity, and then upgrade to the new phones for the gift card to prevent from getting a 2 year contract?

I'm told by Xfinity Rep that if a phone is paid in full, you can request to have it unlocked after 30 days. To get the 250, you need to keep the line active for 90 days.

This may be helpful to others. I just chatted with an agent that seemed pretty knowledgable. He said that I could join Xfinity Mobile now, wait a lil bit until I get activated and then get the existing customer promotion. Which is the better promo to me, I'd rather get a debit card in a few months and then have the freedom to leave. As opposed to be locked to Xfinity for 24 months to get the credit over that time.

Is it just me, or is there no way to see your actual phone orders when logging into your account? I bought a phone from them two years ago but I can't remember if I could find the order in my account and I don't see any order history to see that one either. The only thing I received was the emails, which don't have ship dates.

This is what I did. I took advantage of the promo an hour after activation.

Current customer now with my own working phone, can I get the Iphone SE (pay in full) and not have to activate it and get it unlocked after 30 days and wait for prepaid $250 in 90 days? i plan to gift the phone to someone. TIA
