If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

Could someone please confirm whether we will lose content on the phone when we insert a new sim from a different carrier into the phone?
How about when you activate this new sim?
It sounds bizarre to me that you will lose all the content...

When I upgraded my MacBook, I copied all the content from the old MacBook to the new MacBook by putting them side by side, no cable or iCloud was needed. Could we do the same for two iphones?

What does a SIM card have to do with content on a phone?

I just placed an order with XM for a new sim card and sign up for the 1GB service. A warning message says that I should back up my phone to prevent loss of data when I switch carriers.

Current XM unlinited subscriber . If I pay the iphone 12 in full do I still get the $250 visa GC without a 24 month lock in? Just have to wait 1 to 3 months for the GC to arrive, then I can unlock the phone and be on my way to another carrier?

Thanks

The terms/conditions say it'll track at 0 until day 40, when they pay out.

Buy device on Monthly payment plan, and after couple of days pay off the device.

And you can request unlock on 40th days.

And you get $250 card in 14-16 weeks...

note: if you buy device by paying full, you may not be eligible for $250, so buy on monthly payment plan

Sorry for potentially a dumb question, but I have never done this before and have been with ATT for 15 or so years. So I ordered iPhone Pro with number port from ATT. The phone and sim are supposed to arrive Oct 30th. No instructions with online order on porting the number. How would that work? When the phone and SIM arrive, do I put the SIM in activate and it will take me through the port process or do I need to do something else online/in-store? Also, how long does the porting take and will my phone number work during that time? Once ported, does ATT automatically close your account or do I have to close the account separately?

Thanks

Sorry in advance if it's been asked -

While Xfinity uses VZ towers, is it the exact same service for both cellular reception AND data (including roaming data) if one is traveling either to an isolated place or foreign country?

I have heard of MVNOs that throttle down roaming data or don't provide it at all when roaming away from the towers.

Also, I'd there a trade in option for I7 and I8?
