If you are not a heavy data user, say less than 3GB monthly, major savings are available. I was with Verizon and all the costs just kept adding up. Monthly fee, line fee, 911, taxes, regulatory, on and on....

Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.

My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.

My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.

Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

any suggestion between iPhone12 & mini, price difference is $100

I contemplated a mini since I always hated how phones kept getting bigger but now that I am used to the 5.8" screen of my XS I don't think I could downsize at this point..I went with a 12 pro

This is exactly the kind of confirmation I was hoping to find here. Thank you. Repped!

Pretty sure a trade in and $250 credit/rebate are completely separate.. I just ordered a 12 pro to upgrade my XS and got the $250 rebate. After all said and done the "what to do next" page showed trade in options. I'm not trading as I have kids who will use my old phone at this point. Could always go on the website and chat with someone to confirm..

I found the answer. You go to https://www.google.com/voice/unlock and pay $3 to unlock the number. By the way, if you are logged in with multiple Google accounts you will want to open a new browser window that is incognito/InPrivate/Private to log in to just the Google account having the number you want to unlock.

You also need to know the Voicemail PIN, which you may need to set.

Anyone confirm on combining the $50 port in and $250 GC for the upgrade, maybe a month or so later?

Not true. Been on XM with their 10gb plan for a year now and have been deprioritized a few times. Most of the time its been inside airports. In those scenarios I couldn't make a phone call. I had a full signal but couldn't do much with it. Text messages would spin and wait. That has happened about 3 times, mostly before covid. The service has been rock solid ever since.
Yes, it is true. Only the unlimited plans are now deprioritized (and old $12 plans). The newest 5G by-the-gig plans get full-speed data during high network traffic.

Straight from the XM plan:
Includes higher-quality cellular service in times with high network traffic, like in a crowded stadium.

Not a hard credit check. Just for identity verification.

I can't answer that for you. For me it is as I wanted the better camera and like the stainless exterior better. I don't use a case and the stainless holds up better than aluminum.. Plus the base storage is twice the storage. I'm always flirting with running out of storage on my 64gb XS but 128Gb in the 12 pro will be plenty.
