Is Xfinity right for everyone, no. Is it right for savers who don't use a phone constantly for streaming, for video, for online gaming, for regular Google mapping; yes it is.
My monthly bill is between $16 and $28, just depends on data usage. Locations I had a problem with Verizon service are the same locations I have problems with Xfinity, but those are very, very few.
My Verizon bill, no matter what was around 60 per line. Don't need to pay all that money to pad someone else's pockets.
Look at your monthly data avg., to see what makes cents and dollars.

I ordered on the 13th with an estimated ship date of Dec. 4th (today). I just checked the status and it still has not shipped.
Basically what I would like to do is take advantage of this deal, pay the phone off in full immediately, get the new phone unlocked and send it to a family member in another country.
I have been with Xfinity mobile about 100 days. I know I would have to activate the new phone on my current account but the question is once activated can I immediately request the phone to be unlocked, get it unlocked and then switch back to my old phone while I send the new phone to family . . . or is there a 60 day period that the new phone has to be on the account and activated before they honor the unlock request. Family needs this phone immediately as their old iphone crapped out on them.
I ask this because I would like them to get the new phone but I currently am using an Iphone XR in great condition that would be easier to just try to sell them that phone and keep the new phone but it would be great to know my options.

But someone in this thread reported that he/she was able to successfully unlock their phone through a phone call. So, I immediately called XM and the agent processed the unlock request without any hiccups. And the phone was completely unlocked within the next 24 hours.
That's what I was planning to do with my phone. 1) get the paid in full phone unlocked right away and use it on my current carrier; 2) let the XM line sit for 60 days so that the $250 rebate card will process.

4. The bot responded with:
"You can check the status of your reward using the Xfinity Reward Center below. You'll need to enter your account number or billing address. Your account number is (16 digital account # here)."
5. Copy that account number

7. Tap Status Lookup and enter your 16 digit account number at the bottom.

My bill for one line with one gig was around $17 and then I added another line and it was $18-19 for two lines sharing a gig. I really can not find a better deal than this to keep both lines.

I'd highly recommend Red Pocket on CDMAV (Verizon's network). You can get 8GB data for $17.50/month. Or Visible (uses Verizon's network as well) for $25/month with unlimited data.
