Good price, but not worth it if it cannot support RTSP / other 3rd party app to stream

"1 matching Q&A

Does one need to open ports with port forwarding in router for viewing stream online?

YI Home cameras do not support RTSP. However, you can watch the live feed on your YI Home app.

Thanks for your your response! I greatly appreciate it, until then I've been looking at Foscam and Wyze for the price.

Wow, that's around $20/camera. Great price. If I didn't have issues with limited outlets I'd definitely jump on this.

It's just about $15 / camera, and these cameras can be powered through a USB port such as the one on your computer.

Have these and while the fact they don't integrate into wink/google home, etc is frustrating, their app is nice enough. Also has a home/away mode so you can set it up to only get motion alerts when you set that you're away. Super simple to set up and you can share your cams with other accounts.

Dang, I just bought the 4 pack a couple weeks ago for $69.99. So this is a good price.

I'm wondering how to share camera's on different accounts? Can you point me somewhere with info how to set that up?

Camera system noob here.
1. One of the pic shows SD card, so, I can use SD card to store locally?
2. Can they connect directly to my phone via WiFi (without subscription) and save the video or alert me? How are you guys doing it?
3. I want to use it outside near the garage, is that fine (Charlotte NC weather).

These cameras are capable of connecting to a Wi-Fi network through the YI Home Application which is available in Apple Appstore and Google Play Store.
