    I've soured on M&D toys after I read about the constant issues with their paint, the recalls from a decade ago, everything being made in China from MDF, etc. Another case of a company providing a facade of safety & responsibility, but just mass-producing cheap garbage

    You must have different M&D toys than we own. I have 2 kids (18 months and 4 years) that own a ton a M&D toys and we have numerous issues. We have had parts break, paint issues both from the factory and after use, and things not assembled properly to name a few. Their customer service is ok, and will generally replace items, but takes forever as it seems they ship via pony express. I am grateful a lot was purchased at Nordstrom as the generous return/exchange policy has come in handy more than once. Sadly we keep buying them hoping they will be better.
