How does the trade-in credit work?

Apple trade-in credit
When you trade in with Apple, you'll get an estimated trade-in value. If you pay monthly, that value will be applied as an instant credit to lower your monthly payments. If you pay in full, your payment method will be credited after your trade-in is received.

1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

Option 1 - $250 from apple + $150 from tmobile + $30 cheaper at apple = $430 off and no monthly EIP
Option 2 - $415 from tmobile + $200 loyalty offer = $615 off with 30 month EIP

Does anyone know what "Received" means (it was processing before)? I don't think I have received anything yet. I hope this doesn't mean I should have received the card but that Apple has received the trade in.
