My last sale purchase of a dewalt battery was dated a year and a half old. Compared to my new battery it had about half the ruin time on my chain saw. All these batteries are stamped with mfg date. Beware

A little off topic, but 2 weeks ago i contacted Dewalt about a 6AH Flexvolt battery that had failed right about at the 3 year mark. They said "no problem, we'll ship a new one right out to you". I expected a battery with the old date overstamped onto it (so that the warranty clock wouldn't restart)... what i got was shiny new one of these 12AH in a new retail package. I won't say their service is always great... but this time they really went above and beyond.

I ordered from this vender just recently and my item looked open boxed, it clearly said, "new" in the advertisement. If that really matters to anyone, just a fyi.

You literally answered my question as it was posted. Jedi powers? Lol. I was worried when I saw this site as being reputable. I was only able to find a few yelp reviews (3.5 rating overall)

Nice! Glad to be of some help. I probably won't order from them anymore because I hate dealing with shipping it back if something goes wrong. Plus I had to pay $10 shipping because I didn't meet the threshold to get free ship. Just my issue I have with them. Good luck!

Ive always had good luck with dewalt warranty stuff between tools, batteries, and toughsystem but honestly i think they made a mistake and you jus got REALLY luvky. With toughsystem stuff i would have little latches and stuff break and they would jus send a whole new box most of the time. o and for the date of the battery thing ive never had them restamp a date code for tools or batteries so essentially your warranty restarts every time
