So why ask, if you are such an expert?
As I stated, individuals brought it up after I mentioned it. Not sure how that makes me an expert, since I didn't realize that was the preferable route to go, but thanks. Make sure to continue commenting in deals you aren't interested in to get your post count higher.

From previous experiences Costco doesn't really do price adjustments that often. They usually have me return/rebuy for the discount. I don't know if that would be the same for the laptop.

No thunderbolt, right?
According to LG's site, it has thunderbolt. I highly doubt the Costco version doesn't since it's part of the motherboard and is Intel's exclusive feature.

This is the 2018 version, right? If it is, (and I think its still the latest version) it might be on the way out for a refresh.

The cPU didn't come out till August 2019, so I believe this should be the 2020 version.

This has the 10th generation Intel CPU, which I believe is the latest until the 11th generation tiger lake comes out.

I have the previous generation of this laptop and it's been great. I'll likely buy this on 10/28. The only thing I really don't like are the number keys. I'm happy with the 16GB memory but it can be upgraded to 40GB if you really need it. 8GB is soldered in. The other 8GB is removable and upgradable. There are two SSD slots and they both support NVME. I added a second Samsung fast SSD. This laptop is fast, has a great display, and the battery life is outstanding. Unless one is a hard core gamer or you need a touch display there is nothing that comes close to the weight/performance value offered by this machine.

Actually the non Costco 17" version does have a touch screen. I don't understand why Costco sells the same thing without a touch screen
You sure about touch screen for the 17 inch? I haven't been able to find it. Would be nice plus. Would be curious as to how much more it would be.

There is no LG Gram 17" touch screen. If you need touch they offer a 15" 1080p touch screen laptop. Personally, I prefer the 17" as it has better resolution and a larger screen.

Thanks! I didn't think there was a 17" one after looking on LG site. And I definitely agree. I really like the 17 inch version. Just amazing how light it is when playing around in store.
