You can get a Basic Sam's Club membership for $45 with $45 in credit to be used on an in-store Sam's Club purchase within the first 60 days. This will remove the $20 "handling fee" (ie. 10% surcharge for non-membership), but you will still be charged $12-ish for shipping.
The Slickdeals page for Sam's Club membership says the deal is good for in-store purchase only. Below is one that's good for online purchase. I'm guessing SD won't like it that I'm posting, so I've put spaces in the URL. Remove them and visit. There's no sort of referral in the URL, it's just the coupon code that activates the $45 store credit.
My wife has been an avid cook for 30 years. There's about 5 days a month my wife does not cook with these. She has been using them for the last 5 years.
These can be "non-stick" with proper preparation AND care/cleaning (no soap). There are videos that show you how to season stainless steel cookware. The video will go into how to clean them as well. And after cleaning they need to have a light oiling on the inside.
My wife told me that she had to relearn how to cook in them because they heat up so quickly and evenly.
She absolutely loves them. She has also stated that she could see how the maintenance of them would be a "non-starter" for some.
I may be misremembering, but I think this is a good price for a 10-piece set let alone a 14-piece set.
They weren't new and you used them for 21 years. You're the reason why stores quit offering generous return policies.
I own these and all clad. They are 99% as good as all clad
. i use an all clad skillet, but for pots these are actually better because the all clad handles suck

I have the exact same one, but made for sams club. I bought it in 2018 when it hit clearance and my store had it for 100$, later price adjusted to 80$ total. This is the link to the deal - https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/11189127
Best cookware deal I ever snagged. The set has so many components for the price and the pieces are on the bigger side. This allows me to batch cook while still being able to give space to ingredients to get sauted and not get steam cooked, things like that.
I also have cuisinart multi clad pro set and find it to be thicker and deeper than these. abd cuisinart has flared edges on all pieces, not just smaller pans. But these are more wide open and better sized for sautéing of which I do a lot. I don't like the straight lip around the edges in some of these, it is not a deal breaker though. Because it is thinner than my cuisinart, the canola oil does form a thin golden brown burnt film on the edges with extensive sauteing sessions which goes away with a bit of scrubbing with BKF and elbow grease or boiling the pan in vinegar and water and then quick scrub.
Good set priced aggressively. Often cuisinart multi clad pro goes cheaper than this. And if you want more solid built and flared edges over wider spread and bigger pans, I'd wait for those. For me this was a no brainer at 80$.

100% the flared edges on cuisinart mutliclad are a big extra on top of them often being less expensive. I will also say I think the 8" saute pan and steamer insert are basically filler items nobody really uses. That being said, for the price this is still a decent deal and could be nice as a gift or a starter/medium level set.
We have had these for about 2 years and they are fantastic. Not hard to clean. if something sticks just soak it for a little while and it wipes right out. We put them through the dishwasher on a regular basis with no trouble. Occasionally I will use a little bleach to freshen them up on the inside and little Bar keepers Friend (with the grain) on the outside
I've had the Member's Mark by Tramontina branded version of this since 2016 or so and can confirm it's an excellent set with very good shape and weighting and fully clad up the sides. It looks exactly the same as this one, even with the same handles. Made in Brazil and much better than the Kirkland Signature All-Clad copper core knockoffs that had numerous issues with warping. Those are significantly lower quality and made in China.
The only downside is that stainless steel takes a lot of skill to use without sticking and I find it hard to use on electric coil-top stoves. Cast iron is a lot more forgiving on electric in my experience. And you don't have to scrub cast iron as hard to clean because of the black color.
I agree. I purchased the same Member's Mark set made in Brazil for just under $200 and love it. Excellent quality!

My club sold out of this set at full price but it was still worth it. Wish it did go to clearance
The kirkland set warps and I best the crap out of these. Only way they could be improved is flared lips for pots but that's so minor.
Thr Kirkland set with copper from 15 years back kicks ass the copper core makes all the difference. My set still going strong but I paid like 300 for it the new copper core set is like 200 so quality or copper material may have dropped.
I've only had the kirkland tri-ply ones from a few years ago and they were super prone to warping. Support sent me a second 12" pan and that warped pretty quickly too which was unfortunate.
Been waiting for the cuisinart set and was going to ask if anyone had info to compare so that was super useful. Guess I'll keep waiting on that set to drop again. Was going to buy it at 210 but 3C told me it has gone to 160 before so sub 200 is my target, especially if it's better than this set.
Originally hunting for the coveted 12 piece tri ply tramontina that had the 12qt stock pot ($169 Cheapest, over $300 current).Never found one at a decent price. Finally settled on the Walmart 13 piece tri ply made in China (they had weird round pointed handles w/rounded bottoms). It came damaged, sent back for exchange. This time it was the Brazilian made 13 piece (Squared handles, flat bottom). I was tickled pink but upon opening, damaged again, sent back. Then I stumble across this about a month ago @ Sams for $199. Brazilian made, packaged way better than Wally worlds, no damage at all and a combination of handle type (squared handles w/rounded bottom) best of both designs in my opinion. These pots and pans are great. I highly recommend them to anyone on the fence. This is a great price for a very quality set!
I have some old nonstick steel core cookware that I think isn't holding up so well against my new induction cooktop. Probably time for a new set; was planning to go piece by piece as-needed, but this seems pretty solid.
Also have one new-ish all clad skillet, which somehow already has scratches + tarnishes and needs some bar keepers friend / love.

Assembled Country
Brazil
Component Country
Imported
Does this mean the parts could be made in china and then it is assembled by in brazil? Never heard of the term "component country".
All clad is definitely American, but comes at a hefty premium. I have a single d3 pan and it rocks.
