I signed up online for the membership this morning. Stopped by the club after a couple of hours to get a physical card (don't really need it, just wanted to chat with someone there about the discount). they didn't know exactly how it works, so I just picked up a few things, used self checkout and saw the $45 credit get applied. so it didn't take 72 hours for my case.
