Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

I picked up the clearance 50" ONN for $99 at Walmart earlier this year for use as a work PC monitor. Its panel is RGBW, which means solid lines look like dotted lines and text at 4k is NOT pleasing to the eye. Lots of ghosting and discoloration when dragging windows around, too. Not very well suited for gaming or daily computing. Fortunately, I just needed a large display with a lot of pixels so I kept it. I don't know if the 65" ONN in this deal is RGBW, but I'd strongly suggest doing your research unless you're just planning to watch TV or throw it in a kid's room.

It appears that this one is manufactured by Hisense.

That's what i thought when I seen the pic. I gave $228 for my 58''Hisense and I'm happy with it....Love the Roku.

if it's RGBW does that mean it's an LG panel? Which would be pretty decent

Damn that's a good deal. Not sure if the tcl 55 or this is a better deal.

Anyone have any experience with onn?
I bought an ONN 32" computer monitor a while ago and returned it the next day. The picture was really washed out. I spent a half hour playing with the settings too. although I have to admit for that kind of money I'm still tempted. Seems worth a shot and you could easily return it if you had to

I bought Onn brand refurbished from vipoutlets on eBay after it fp on here. When I got the tv the front glass, panel and led were all separated at the top margin. I don't know what happened but it gave me a glimpse of how flimsy this thing is. I would look for a better brand if you intend to enjoy your tv for a good few years.

Go into walmart and look at any of the Onn tvs and you'll realize why theyre pennies compared to any other model up there.

Sounds like im just going with the tcl 55 deal, as I already have that tv in one room and love it.

it's supposed to be in store on the 7th starting at 5 am. there's a reason why it says all stores have a minimum quantity!
