Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

omg the people in this thread complaining about a $228 4K 65" Smart TV.

wtf are you guys expecting for $228? Damn the way some of yall complain is like yall expect OLED 85" for this price.

Yall are the biggest trolls.

And those who say youll be replacing your tv in a year lol. Then if that happens, you got the amount of time the TV was worth--but that is not likely to happen as many of these no name cheap brand TVs last for years. Sure you hear a few horror stories, but you dont hear the HUNDREDS maybe THOUSANDS of sets that are fine.

Heck, if it breaks in 2-3 years after heavy use, that means I got my money's worth and in 2-3 years, they will be selling 85" 4K 120hz native smart TVs for $228.

I have a crappy westinghouse 4K TV from 2 years ago 55" 4K smart TV that was like $228 as well, and there is no reason for me to replace it because it works fine but deep down im hoping it breaks so i can get this as a replacement because I got my money's worth.

This is a great f-ing deal if you need a TV now, dont care about brand or all the mumbo jumbo quality numbers the nerds here try to shove down your throat and them trying to persuade you to join them since they paid 2, 3, 4, 5, 6x more for their set and want to feel good that their TV that cost more is so much better. Many of those same people buy those expensive sets and only using the tv speakers or a sound bar lol. Only take av geeks who run a true av receiver setup with their properly calibrated OLED tv seriously. But at the same time those guys dont seem to settle for anything less. So as someone who falls in between, buy this tv if you need one
I'll break your TV for you so you can get this one. I'm just trying to help a fellow slickdealer out.

ONN products are cheap because, well... they're cheap. Cheaply manufactured. They are generally low quality items sold at prices low enough that people will buy them knowing that they are likely to be substandard.

This 65" TV is likely to be substandard in several ways, particularly the picture and sound. But, to me, the worst thing is when you get a set-up menu that only allows the most basic of adjustments. Cheap screen + lousy set-up menu = lousy picture, and no options to make it better.

Bottom line... for a living room TV that you will watch most of your entertainment content, this 65" ONN will surely disappoint. Spend a little more on Black Friday and get a better quality TV.
Yes, spend like $4k for a great one. Why not, right? We don't want good, we need great.

You are clueless. Do you know why people praise TCL now, because they make quality tvs and are now one of the biggest brands in the world. Do you know why people talk trash about Vizio, it is because Vizio use to be the go to cheap tv, they are anti consumer, they partake in shady business practices, got legal action taken against them, the quality and price of their products cant compete with brands like TCL. The budget brands you say are good are rebranded garbage like RCA, black Friday Toshiba tvs etc. Majority of generic tvs are made in a 3rd world country using the cheapest parts found and then some name brand company slaps their name on it.

can anyone guess, based off of how previous deals at walmart went... what is the likelyhood of someone being able to snag one of these? im not trying to get my hopes up if its a situation where like 1% of the people looking to buy one as soon as the sale goes live, actually get one.

"Shit" quality TVs still look and work just fine compared to TVs of several years ago. Sure, it doesn't remotely compare to today's high end TVs, but it's just fine for everyday use.

By "shit", I mean short life span, apps freezing/locking up the TV and quitting, bad angle viewing/glare, ghosting picture, pixels going bad etc.

There are a TON of cheap TVs, avoid this one and go with something like a TCL. If you want an even cheaper option go with Westinghouse or Hisense.. but avoid the onn brand. my 2c

I bought Onn brand refurbished from vipoutlets on eBay after it fp on here. When I got the tv the front glass, panel and led were all separated at the top margin. I don't know what happened but it gave me a glimpse of how flimsy this thing is. I would look for a better brand if you intend to enjoy your tv for a good few years.
Me too! I returned it immediately!
