Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

43 inch onn went on sale for 88 on Thursday at online Walmart. I picked it up today. The deal lasted about 15 minutes before it sold out so you'll have a little cushion time for this one

Lasted for 15 minutes? WTF it was sold out in 2 seconds. I tried to buy 1 second after deal went live with no success along with 98% of everyone else who tried.

60hz,
It's not going to show hyper realistic movements
for some 4k content.

I picked up the clearance 50" ONN for $99 at Walmart earlier this year for use as a work PC monitor. Its panel is RGBW, which means solid lines look like dotted lines and text at 4k is NOT pleasing to the eye. Lots of ghosting and discoloration when dragging windows around, too. Not very well suited for gaming or daily computing. Fortunately, I just needed a large display with a lot of pixels so I kept it. I don't know if the 65" ONN in this deal is RGBW, but I'd strongly suggest doing your research unless you're just planning to watch TV or throw it in a kid's room.
Samsung's page on RGBW says that tv's that carry the "4k UHD" logo should not be RGBW. Was yours branded as 4k UHD?

Would this be better than my 2014 Samsung 4k55inch TV?

I'm think about trying to sell that after black friday for the same price I buy this (if I can manage to get it of course).

Do they make any profit selling the TV or is it mainly for selling ads to the viewer?

As a financial advisor I'm seeking new and replacement client facing monitors/screens for my office <43in, conference room 65+in and lobby 55-65+in to display reports, video (Zoom/WebEx, market update videos, streaming CNBC/Bloomberg and possibility of streaming sports when I'm working late or weekends) and photo-rich presentations. Effectively the TVs would serve as duplicate or secondary displays with inputs via HDMI, Display Port and a Roku-like streaming device.
My branch office has many windows and glare has been an issue with existing screens.
What specs or products would y'all suggest?
How important are the refresh rates, response times, input lags, video processing engines/software?
While 4K may be overkill for most of the aforementioned uses now, I want something with a 5+ year useful life to coincide with my current lease-contract.
I appreciate your insight, guidance and suggestions.

Purchased a Black Friday special 55+ in RCA tv for ~$250 from Walmart 2 or 3 years ago and it was DOA, replaced immediately with another unit that failed within weeks and was directed to contact RCA for service/support. After weeks of calling/submitting online service requests, I finally reached a human support pro who directed me to repackage and ship the unit to a repair facility (at my cost) for possible warranty service with a baseline diagnostics/service fee of $100+... Alternatively I could find a local authorized/certified repair shop to diagnose the issue, but would be stuck with the bill if repair service couldn't be completed at that shop or under the terms of the warranty. Between shipping, possible repair costs and time, I cut my losses and gave the TV to my cousin.
Certainly purchase an extended warranty/protection plan if you plan to buy an off-brand unit.

Squaretrade? Or would you get the Geeksquad extended warranty? Are Hisense and TCL considered "off-brand" nowadays?
