Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

Picked mine up today. Unfortunately I got a bad panel. Lines/bleeding? on both the left and right sides of the screen going up vertically about a quarter inch from the bezel on both sides. Was hoping it might have been residue from the packing tape but that's not the case.

I'm having alot of trouble calibrating my unit the blue channel refuses to respond linearly to the gamma control. So, I can pull it in with software on PC, but the hardware on its own can not be set to track grey scale without color casting.

I will test my other unit tomorrow and see if it's consistent.

I am debating between the Best Buy hisense and this one. Have pending pickups for both. Any consensus on which one is better

Out of curiosity what was the source and what was the video? Thanks.

Anyone have issues getting local broadcast channels? I am getting none. I am replacing 5 year old Panasonic which has reception at same location with the same antenna.

Finally got my Onn completely setup. Just wanted to give a full review, including comments on it vs the Target TCL TV (which is surprisingly still in stock at a few store near me.)

I fully realize I may have finally hit the panel lottery with this Onn, but I'm impressed.
Uniformity - one of the best since my 42" plasma. So much better than my LED Sony Bravia, which has terrible DSE.
Colors - do NOT run this thing at 100% brightness. After about an hour, I found a very nice blend of highlights and fairly rich black levels.
Light bleed - extremely minimal on mine.
Image quality - Shockingly good.
Speakers - wouldn't know. Always use a sound system.
Appearance - the bezel-less look is pretty nice. I'm surprised how much I just like the look of this TV.

How does it compare with the Target TCL?
Appearance: The bezel-less Onn design looks much nicer from the start. The TCL looks like any other cheap TV I've bought on BF.
Uniformity: Onn wins by a huge margin. Could've been a bad TCL panel, but small grey spots lead to a rough DSE effect.
Colors: TCL is fairly dull in comparison for whatever reason.
Interface: I prefer android, but the TCL was a bit laggier. So Onn wins for speed of the Roku interface.
Light bleed: Fairly similar.

Final conclusion? Assuming you get a good panel, the winner is 100% the Onn.

Also, note on transport - Yes, you can transport an LED TV flat, just be careful with cushion underneath, and try to avoid a bumpy drive. These aren't plasmas. Remember, you're told to lay these flat in the instruction manual when attaching the legs; just not for an extended period of time. It's perfectly safe to do so if they're well-cushioned and it's a brief trip.

Here's a video: https://streamable.com/fq77ub
The source is pretty much any 4K YouTube video. I have not tried any other source. Everything else I've played since I started playing 4K on YouTube has pretty much just been 1080p videos or lower. And the artifacting does not happen for those videos

I'm interested in trying other sources like a direct 4K video via USB, a local Plex video file, or via a Blu-ray player, but honestly if its doing this just from YouTube I might as well return it. Also I have the TV on the floor atm- not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

You psychos out there with all three 65 BF deals, Jesus H christ!!! They are 98.76% the same- if you used your red card and want to hold on to the fact it's the cheapest one- keep the TCL. If you want to watch limited Dobly vision stuff and feel you can see a difference-keep the Hisense. If you enjoy Roku over Android- keep the Onn

Save some crumbs for others, you filthy animals!
There's a reason why Rtings doesn't review the ONN's and it's not because they're superior anything.... Fact is, no one knows much about the longevity or the real specs of such brands. To some, not knowing is better than knowing I guess. My bet is one decent bump and the thing falls apart on the floor. I'll stick with the highest rated 65" under $500 and that's the TLC.... Next year, we'll all hear about the people being had for Walmart BF garbage and how Roku is and dinosaur and Android is the only tv app worth having!! For me, it's on to a new bedroom TV... https://www.walmart.com/ip/TCL-55...&sharedid=
