Picked mine up today and they gave me a 70". I wasn't going to say anything but only a 65" would fit in my car so I said, "that's the wrong tv". They said it's your lucky day because they ran out of 65". I had to go get a truck.
Where do you live? I've got one waiting but decided against a 65 ONN..... but a 70" is a quite different story!!

Yes its ONN brand in an orange box. So no one else got 70"???

Or does it just say 70" on box but actually 65"?

I got mine set up and I am extremely happy with the picture quality. I had to turn on HDR BRIGHT which increases the contrast to 100. My unit has no dead pixels or any flickering/lines going down anywhere. My only question is, it always chooses HDR instead of 4K on Netflix and Disney+, is there a way to have 4K instead, would just like to see what it would turn out like.

backlight-100(90-100dealers choice)

dynamic contrast- off

brightness- 52 (50-52 are all close depends on your eyes dealers choice)

contrast - 51 (49-52 are all close, your call dealers choice )

color- 68 (hard to pinpoint, my weakness one)

Sharpness- 40 ( feel free to go higher)

Color temp- cool...../normal (very hard to pick one, but it's not warm.)

I had decided to keep my TCL and cancel the ONN but temped to go pick it up just to see if it's a 70". Maybe ask if I can see the tv to get measurements before picking it up. Although to be honest, I got the TCL for $200 and I'm not sure I'd even want the 70" for $40 more since my wife is already complaining about how large the 65" is. Also, I like Android TV more than Roku and I really need Dolby Digital Plus as my surround doesn't work with DTS. Also, after running video tests I seem to have lucked up and gotten a near perfect panel in my TCL with no DSE or any of the other problems others are reporting across both models so maybe I shouldn't press my luck.

You guys were lucky to get yours. Mine is still saying it's "processing" so I chatted Walmart. They told me that means it's out of stock and they check daily for 10 days and then cancel the order if no stock appears.
However, the same tv, is IN STOCK at my local store for free shipping and/or same day pick up.
But the chat reps (i went through two supervisors) wouldn't budge letting me pick up in store. They pulled the whole "this is a different model" as someone else pointed out. It's really the same tv...the "model" for the sale, only meant it was for sale at the discounted price.
I asked the rep to explain to me the differences...of course they couldn't tell me. But they would not budge on letting me pick it up in store.
Yeah I was surprised I got mine. I believe the key is to be really quick adding to the cart and making sure you have an account with payment information already entered...AND shipping information entered as well (which should be done before the order with another item even if you do not intend to buy that item.) I figured this out because a few days earlier I missed out on a deal for a $49 TV because the system made me enter shipping address even though I created an account as stated above.

Oh...it also wouldn't hurt to familiarize yourself with purchasing an item online (even if you don't intend to buy) so you can spend more time clicking through screens instead of reading.)

Funny thing is that I was ready to buy....i added to my cart and checked out within 45 seconds of the sale going live...that's what surprised me as to why I never got it.

They must have a certain allotment per region cause my "region" apparently had them for awhile after 7....... Ended up with the Target TCL 435 for $230, next day pickup.... and that was around nearly all day and even the next day had some about 20 minutes away still for sale.

My setup went great soon as I got home(hole another story)

They tried to give me a 50, opposite of everyone else.

Setup Roku and played with the themes and settings, all looked great.

Put it to sleep for 30 mins, ate, and going to start settings search.

5 minutes in a thin blue line 1/4 form the top right side, down-mid shows up...... then another "blank line sound up mid-screen to the left"

I could not fit it in my car. No matter what we tried.
I decided to return it - they said I have to wait 24 hours since it was dispensed to me. It's sitting at Walmart and I have to go back tomorrow. The 55" TCL will fit easily. Just needed a few more inche.

So help me out here. I have this TV in my possession and I'm on the fence as to keeping it or returning and looking for something else. I don't care about the Roku part as I will be using the Apple TV 4K.

Why do I need help? Because I literally read all 1000 comments and have no idea if I made a mistake purchasing this specific TV due to the various opinions.

Before I begin, I currently have a Vizio from 2007 and am pretty confident that if I keep the TV the picture will be better. I also quite aware that the TV is a little over $200 and understand it's a great value. It's just that I also want to make sure I am buying something of value that will fit my minimal needs. One of those things is the best possible experience when I'm watching Disney + and Netflix.

I read the TV apparently doesn't support Dolby.

is this a big deal? Will I notice the difference? Just want to make sure I'm not making a bad decision.

Thanks.
You currently are using a 13 year old TV.

You got a $500+ TV for 1/2 price.

Unless the 13 year old TV is a 75" plasma, I think the answer is pretty clear.
I replaced a 60" Samsung and couldn't be happier.
