Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

Ok from my perspective, you're trying to weigh 2 fat-guys by eye.

I measured my fat-dude with a scale. What's there to argue.

You also shouldn't compare brightness to monitors, because a 65" panel @ 250 nits is equivalent to 5x 24" monitors @ 250nits, So you're comparing 1 panel to 5 panels that way. Of course the bigger panel will be perceptually brighter.

These measurements have to be normalized. for display Area.
I think you got two bad TVs then, like I said, my bedroom sex cam is 100% objective and agrees this TV is at least brighter than my M7.

How about if I take fluke readings from a solar panel, is that a fair way to test the brightness?

And it'd be closer to 7-1/2 - 24" monitors, wouldn't it?

Yes its ONN brand in an orange box. So no one else got 70"???

Or does it just say 70" on box but actually 65"?
I did! I thought they made a mistake so I called them. They told me to keep it!

Congrats...it's amazing so many people got 70".

Walmart has been freaking awesome this Black Friday...stores obviously got orders from corporate to substitute with upgrades if they run out.

Picked up two in Clermont, FL, they had the 65" and it's what I ended up with.

I posted on this thread earlier that I was having a hard time getting through on the website. I eventually got through and was able to order the TV. It took a few days for it to be available at Walmart and they sent me a notification when it was ready. They did a no contact pick up which was very easy and very fast. We were in and out of there in about five minutes. I was surprised how light the TV was. I have smaller TVs that way twice as much as this TV.
I was a bit skeptical of how good the picture could be, but I was actually somewhat impressed with the overall quality of this TV. It's not as good as the other TVs in my house, but the picture is acceptable to me and I love the fact that I barely spent any money purchasing it. If this TV goes on sale for the same price I'd definitely recommend jumping on the deal.

They tried to do this to me because they ran out of 65s but I needed two matching ones for my wall, so I asked for a 65 and to give the 70 to someone else.

Got home and it turns out the shipped 65s are a slightly different model than the in-store 65s anyway. Not sure of all the differences but the legs are wider on the in-store one. Really hoping the VESA mounts are in the same spot or this just got a lot harder.

No wonder why most are impressed with this TV. This has very good panel consistency and a very strong backlight. I am pretty sure that this is a Hisense R6090 aka R606065 (both 2020 Models) under the ONN clothes.

He might have got 2 bad TVs from different brand. But seeing is believing. Me and my friend both bought this TV and both have really strong backlight. I would say its even better than the Samsung TU7XXXX Crystal HD series.

Has anyone else had their orders delayed? My initial pickup was was supposed to be yesterday, but instead I got an email saying that my order is delayed.

Has anyone gone to the store without a pickup confirmation? For those who got the 70" or a different TV, did you receive your pickup email?

TV look surprisingly good for me. Nice design with a thin back. I did some Youtube vids and was amazed on how it looked. 4K vids looks good. It gets pretty bright, I had to do Normal to lower the brightness. Colors needs a bit of work.
One thing I noticed is the upscaling of 1080p were pretty bad. But what can I say at this price? everything looks very good.
Was bumped out that I didn't get the TCL but now seeing this, i cannot complain. Debating if I should get the additional warranty? Any inputs?

Same - just stuck in preparing order. "Delayed—check back later for status update(Package 1 of 1)" Surprised it hasn't just been cancelled since it's no longer listed.

Just received an email from Walmart about processing my refund. Never initiated a cancellation or return on my end. Checked my order under my Walmart account and it shows it as returned. Good luck with yours.

Edit - Contacted their support chat. They couldn't do anything about the cancelled order, but they did give me a $25 gift card for the trouble.

Got replacement, it was a circus. Walmart in my area is poorly managed is saying it nicely. Got a discount too, may have to go back to jump through more hoops in regards to the warranty. FYI- this has no warranty *UNLESS* you purchase it when you buy the tv..... so I either sit on my discounted cheapo buy or go return and rebuy *with* warranty.
