Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

Was upgraded to the 70"

Be aware that the TV from default seems to be on low power mode.

Was wondering why the colors were so far off and that was a large part of it until I changed to normal. Otherwise it truly looks terrible

Still have to do the rest of the adjustments, hopefully can find a post of the best settings for
Most tvs ship with low power mode on default so they can claim some kind of energy star rating and make it look like it uses less power.

Haven't seen many comments here about picture settings. I noticed in HDR mode, back light setting on all picture modes is default value is set to full 100% full. Is this advised back light level to keep for HDR content? Or am I correct this value does not affect calibration and should be adjusted simply for how bright of an image you want? Color temp both normal and cool both looked too cool for me so I definitely prefer warm. I also noticed a separate setting for TV brightness in the menu 3 settings for brightness. darker, normal and brighter. I don't know if people like to use these in conjunction with backlight setting? Or prefer one or the other?

Anyone able to get an upgrade replacement? Mines having the issue and since everyone getting upgrade due to out of stock seeing if it's possible as a replacement from Walmart
I had to call the corp number- 800-966-6546. My local Walmart never picked up the phone three times. They assured me I'd get a replacement, I got over there and it was they had no idea who I was. Id try your local pickup Walmart, then that number. THE best I understand is they have to have a matching model in the store to exchange. Depends on the manager too.

They are lazy and told me Id have to get the TV. So I brought the display box up front, took the box back, and got a 65 onn.. Then they brought a BF 65 model and got that one. Took over an hour early rainy morning with a borrowed pos Van with a bad battery. FUn times.....

If there is anyone still contemplating this TV vs the Target TCL 65" I can say at least from my observation of having both of them that the Onn impresses far more. The TCL Android interface was clunky at the best and the remote volume control had a 1-2 second delay consistantly. The colors on the Onn are far more vivid and crisp and the TV itself just looks.and feels like a solid build compared to the TCL. I tend to use web streaming channels for news etc that my Nvidia can handle all day, the TCL struggled and could not process the video without choking itself to death, the Onn had no issues at all and the Roku interface I found was even quicker than my stand alone Nvidia shield. Now I just want to box the TCL back up and pretend I didn't buy it.
I don't judge looks or sound, its 99.8% picture quality for me. But many have said they prefer the style/looks of this TV over the others. Another poster in this thread said they prefered this over his 5 series form last year, said it was a better picture. That's hard for me to believe. I have a 2016 H9 and for certain videos it's close. I have not gotten the same input source to better judge. I could with some work, but I'm happy with both.

I have not been able to unpack mine (65") but I noticed it doesn't mention HDR on the box at all. It is comforting that (almost) everyone has given great reviews
This tv does HDR.

I posted settings a few pages back(69 maybe), watch out it's before the warranty mess. FYI I'm not a pro calibrator and prefer natural settings. It was very hard to get the colors and choose warm, cool, and normal. I picked normal/cool, it wasn't warm(but there is a setting for warm, just lots of hard to get it close). Warm killed the whites and gave everything a smoke look, much easier to use normal/cool for me. I wouldn't go below 90 backlight, but it's your TV/eyes, do what works for you.

So my box says HDMI1 has ARC and VESA is 400 x 200.

Just strange because I recall others on here stating their is no arc and the VESA is 300 x 200

Is this a common thing for low-budget TVs? Are there typically different versions for the same model numbers?

Just curious...

same here, picked up the TV yesterday and even told the store employee this is to the TV I ordered, he said it was and the box was a Samsung UN65TU7000. but my receipt shows the ONN 65inch tv.. I canceled the extended warranty online today since the receipts don't match.

The Samsung box has my order number and last name on it, I'm figured someone at the warehouse messed up, these tv's are $530 range and on sale right now @ Costco for $479.

My tv is already registered at Samsung online since it a 2020 model.. so no worries here..

Got pickup confirmation today finally. After being hassled about coming tonight instead of tomorrow(when email said best day to come is tonight....they at first told me those pickups are only done on Saturday....) they finally brought it out. Received a Samsung 65" TU7000.

just set mine up and we're very happy with it. didn't mess with settings at all other than turning off the power saving settings. volume is loud, but pretty tinny, hooked up sound bar and it's much better. family can't believe it was so cheap

Any idea if Brickseek might be accurate on this one? Still showing 6 in stock for 228$ at a store 20 minutes away from me. Wondering, if I should make a drive... My results with brickseek are subpar to say the least...

I've driven many cumulative hours following "6+ in stock" from brickseek and never once... always just crumbs on an empty shelf and an associate that seems to never want to check their inventory system Frown

There is a slim chance people ordered and never picked up, or, they were picked up but never scanned properly so they still show in inventory. Slim chance, doubt it's worth a long drive. Maybe this or one of the others will be back in stock, these are supposed BF specials so I'm assuming a few merchants will be selling another round of stock. Good luck
