I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this, or will there be better deals later on??
There will definitely be more gaming laptop deals, but this might ve the lowest price we see on a laptop with a discrete graphics card.

I bought the same laptop but with the 1650 TI brand new in the box from someone on OfferUp for 500 bucks a few months ago. I use it for school and light gaming. It works great. No complaints so far.

I was tempted to keep an eye on this but the single ram slot and that backlighting make want to pass. Plus this looks like a one off model with HP specifically for the holidays. In my experience, you really get what you pay for with those, especially from HP.

This was $499 last year for Black Friday, and I bit. Been using it for almost a year now, and absolutely love it for the price, and being $50 cheaper this year makes it highly recommended from me, fwiw

The backlighting can be dim/bright/off with a button-push

No 26 key roll over anti ghosting.

Umm, does that mean what I think it means, cuz that would be bizarre for a gaming laptop

I will probably get this. I just want a laptop that will do and play everything. Not do it in a great way, but a least just be able to do it. I have the Walmart CC too, so I will save another 5%. I am currently rocking an I5-3337U and Intel HD 4000, so even this would be a big step up.
