This vs the Nitro 5 for $699, 2060 and 16gb of memory instead? Any thoughts
If you are gonna play Overwatch like me, Fortnite or even Rocket League, this HP is more than enough, but if you want to play Read Dead Redemption 2 or new generation games, you need more power, so the 2060 is pretty good for those needs

It is but I wouldn't count on it being a very good one as is typical with budget gaming systems.
Is there such thing as a low quality IPS screen? Doesn't IPS have to meet certain spec?

What's the advantage of gen 2 port?
Faster transfer speeds at 10Gbps. You can also plug in a portable monitor and get a dual monitor setup. I believe it has power delivery so makes things a lot more convenient.

Is the protection plan worth purchasing?
My approach was buying with a CC that offers extended warranty service, and depending if I can get the BB deal or not, I'll add the Walmart protection plan to this purchase later, since they give you a grace period to do so after the purchase.

Anyone know how this one compares in both specs and brand name vs this one?

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/leno...Id=6419028

I bought it a few days ago, but they haven't shipped yet, so it can be easily cancelled.

Turns out I can save a bit of money and get a larger extended warranty at the same time with the HP...but don't know enough about these sort of things to know which has the superior specs overall. Can someone who knows what they're talking about give me some advice/info in dummy terms?

Love the style, but isn't this a 2 year old CPU and a really old wifi card too if it doesn't do wifi 6 or Bluetooth 5.0
Intel chip hasn't gotten that much faster in 2 years so it doesn't make a lot of difference.

Still available...wonder why they put a limit on the first minute of the first round?
