Several bad reviews saying it's a PITA to assemble and the holes don't line up. But hey it's cheap and that's all the matters right (*sarcasm)?
Doesn't look all that comfortable to me. Is it so much to ask to have a chair with generous padding on the seat? I rarely see that anymore until you get into the $200-300 range. Isn't it just foam?
About as ergonomic as two boards nailed together and shoved up your ass. Even the cheapest office chair is going to offer better padding and support. These racechairs are just cheap padding on particle boards. By the time you're done adding cushions that don't destroy your prostate and some back support because you're not a jellyfish, you could have bought a decent office chair on sale.

Seems like there would be a market for better quality. I got two chairs from Costco under $100 and they have spring coils in the seat.
Can anyone recommend a good chair < $150.00 - need to get one for my son but all gaming chairs are getting hammered in the threads and office chairs are wayy to expensive . Thank you in Advance.
I spent more on the higher end redo send and it's decently comfortable but it's true, not all the holes lined but and it took two men to align the holes enough to stick it in.
FWIW, I'm getting rid of my chair because it's too low. I usually have to put the keyboard on my lap.
These gaming chairs look nice but plan on it starting to peel after 2-4 years.
Yep even my nicer staples chair started peeling after 2 years of very light use.... I now buy the fancy chairs used or refurb instead (steel case leap v2 at home and work now)
$20 lower than the last week's deal. It is a good price, but you get what you pay for. Personally I'd hold off for a few more months and wait for a $400-500 chair to go on sale for $200-300.
