Got the "older" version without wheels.
Proper sear on meat to seal in juices much better than the grill.
Regulator is finicky, doesn't like quick changes or it thinks blasting propane into open air, cuts flow. Simple to reset, though.

Anyone know if the stand is collapsible for better portability? I could not find that model on Blackstone's website.

Is this big enough for regular use, or more like a camping smaller usage? Been wanting a 36 incher

I was wondering the same thing. Wanted to get this for the RV but I cannot fit it if it doesn't fold up.

I got this last time. The stand appears appears to be the only difference, mine has no wheels and is collapsible/height adjustable which this one does not appear to be. I love mine. The fuel regulator that tries to figure out if you've got a 20LB tank attached or a 1LB tank is something that's easy to trip, if turned on too high too fast it will only release a small amount of gas at a time

I got this same deal $99 at the beginning of this year. Use it a few times a week during this summer and love it.

This looks like a Walmart specific model. I was trying to figure this out as well. It doesn't look like its collapsible like Blackstone 22" adventure model.

I had the 22" and ended up buying the 36". If you want to anything like hibachi you need the extra room and control of 4 burners.

Mine lifts off the stand. Legs are adjustable but not collapsing. Bought this model for the same deal last year, but no roller wheels

Have the older model and it's amazing, I think I paid a bit less then this but worth the $100.

Makes amazing omelets, breakfast items, and Killer Hibachi! Better then any restaurant.

The griddle is different not just the stand. The griddle and stand are integral on this one and it is not designed to break down for easy transport. It does benefit from getting the standard grease pan that you can use the liners in. The hood on this one is attached to the griddle plate whereas the other one it attached to the housing allowing just the plate to be removed. Likely have the same guts, but they are different beyond that. For people who plan to use it in a single location, this is a better choice. If you plan to travel with it, I'd go with the folding stand version.

I have this for a family of 4 and that is about its limit. It'll do 4 strip steaks, 9-12 pancakes / French toast slices, a pound of bacon. If you plan to entertain or cook large meals, I'd go bigger. You also truly have little to no ability for multiple temperature zones on this vs some ability on the larger ones.

If that's the same case with this new stand with wheels, it may fit the 17" griddle too.

Portability shown around the 3:40 mark.

I've been looking for one of these for quite some time. It's great that it can accommodate a 20 lb propane tank as well. Thanks for the find OP!
