If you can wait i would. I picked up 28" deluxe for $99 last year, and the 36" even went on sale for sub $150.

I stand corrected. It is in fact steel. The 28" ProSeries 3 burner also came with a hard top. It looks exactly as the item below but with 3 burners instead of 2, and instead of doors it has a shelf.

I dont use a cover due to it being in a covered porch and that brings about another plus, I could never grill in my porch due to the smoke of a standard grill but thats not an issue with these, or at least it hasnt been for us. These things are great!

Season it properly, keep a light coat of oil on it after cleaning, & don't leave it exposed or out in the rain. Cover the flat top well where rain water runs off because water & humidity on uncoated cold-rolled steel is your enemy.

There's been several areas of the country where Walmart is offering clearance prices on models & size griddles. BUT... its the luck of the draw if you run into any Walmart & find one on clearance, or if it's the same clearance price as a different store's location. Each store is managed individually by corporate & its local manager. One store might have the air fryer model at $350 & another 10 mi down in another town at the full price.

I really want the collapsible Camp Chef four burner. Has anyone seen any specials on the Camp Chef? They seem to have a little better design.

Smashburgers are all about the "favorable crust". If made with 80/20 ground beef and cooked properly [seriouseats.com], they are not dry

I'm cautious buying Wal-Mart models as they are typically made cheaper to fit the pricing model. Anyone know if this is the case with Blackstone?

I have the 22 with adjustable legs. I actually prefer it more than this sale model since mine collapses flat for storage & the griddle separates from hood & base. The sale model hood is attached to the griddle. I paid full price but didn't care because they were OOS for a couple months at all the Walmart's by me & just got back in stock, & I really wanted it!. Lowest clearance price by me per brickseek history was 144.00.

I also have a 36 inch model I got on sale at Tractor Supply some time ago.
