Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.
I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.
I picked this up for my 13 year old son last night as a Christmas gift now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have. But then again he's 13 and has pieced his gaming computer together over time and is currently using a crappy Polaroid tv Black Friday special from a couple of years ago as a monitor so I'm sure it will be fine.
Considering what he's upgrading from, the refresh rate alone is going to blow his mind. Buttery smooth FPS if his hardware can handle it.

Perfect monitor for a 13 year old. He's gonna love it!!
I play on a 1440p 32" Acer Predator and love it. Of course its more high end than this but if you don't have a super fast graphics card you're not going to be playing at 1440p anyhow. This is a great deal for anyone needing a 1080p monitor. No speakers but most of the monitor speakers suck anyhow. 2 HDMI and displayport is excellent for inputs. Insane good deal. Oh and if you buy a 1440p then reduce your res to 1080p its going to look worse than this monitor by far.
Repped and in for one for my brother. He will love the 165Hz after being stuck at 60Hz forever!

Picked 2 up from Christmas. Primary purpose is gaming so I think they will love them. I think the return policy right now is 30 days past Christmas so I figured plenty of time to pull the trigger and return if something better comes along.
I would consider better
1440p
27" or bigger
VA
<$180
Tough to best this deal just for gaming

Silly question but is there a restocking fee? I want to buy this for simple office type work but reading everyone's opinion is making me wonder if it'll be a disaster or not. I'm sure it'll be fine but just in case I need to return it, do they charge a restocking fee and how much?
You sd threadcrappers just hating, why not move along, the majority of the community views this as a good deal as evidenced by the 230+ TU
not threadcrapping... it's a good deal for specs+cost, but it's better when people are able to share their experiences and let others know what they're getting into. That said, whose post was more constructive? Yah, feel free to move along.

He gave an opposing viewpoint. It was constructive, your comment is not. Listening to opposing viewpoints is what makes us better across many parts of life, not just deals.
Purchased 2, and will be connecting them up in a few to one of my Threadripper systems and see how the dual display system will work as my Graphics Card has 4 Ports and 1 HDMI.
For a monitor most will agree 1080p on a 32" is doodoo but you do you bro.
Actually, if it's ultrawide the monitor is basically the height of a 17-19 inch monitor. Unless you're sitting on top of it, 1080 looks fine. I have 29 and 32 inch monitors, and yes they could be more sharp, but to the average person you won't even notice (also have to consider if it isn't ultrawide, most people don't have the equipment to run much over 1080 at max settings) the Response time is what you're looking for in a monitor like this, not resolution, at least in my opinion...

That being said, thank OP, this deal is great!
Actually no, by definition sharing a dissenting non constructive view saying you can see pixels is disinformation, 😂 cool story tho bro
