Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.
I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.
Report back if you find out anything, got one coming and may just return it if its older rev. Be easier to take back if it hasn't been opened. Has anyone tried gsync on it yet?
Display Port Ver 1.2
HDMI Ports Ver 1.4
I will test the Audio 3.5mm Port tomorrow thru a wired soundbar
And I suspect the difference in versions [S03 to S01] may be the response times 1ms or 5ms
** Hint - In my mind this could be an issue of litigation from false advertising for sales if true! **
I would recommend against this. The text is so blurry and undefined compared to my other 1080p monitors.
They can go to the "Scale & Layout" part of their machine and increase the Size of the Text, apps and other items to a higher %. Shouldn't be a problem if its "so blurry".
I snagged 2 of these tonight at my local Walmart, and they're going back. The colors are all pretty warm and no amount of adjusting could get them quite right. Coming from using a 50" 4k tv as a monitor, this is really just kind of hard to look at. Maybe if you're accustomed to lower resolution it won't be a problem, but coming from 4k it looks pretty terrible. I'm using this monitor as I type this and I honestly can't switch back fast enough.
Well not a lot of news, but they were actually produced in batches around end of JULY 2020 and on. At least these were.
There's still about 15 at the store.
Freesync was automatically enabled, as I am still messing around with settings.
If you have the Graphics Card App to modify resolutions you can get it as high as your card can take it. 1080p and 1080i were easy for me. Max Pixel Clock 410MHz @ 120Hz before crashing and defaulting back to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.
And these were on Display Port. I'll do HDMI Later.
The name of the monitor is identified by or as ACER X243W Mfd: under ED320QR S
That's all I got for now.
Maybe I'll go buy a 3rd one for the hell of it???
Would there be a issue if you bought more then one and plan to use them together? Say 2 or 3. Would each screen look slightly different if the revisions are different? What are the differences between the revisions? Was the first one known to have issues?

Will wait for email from ACER.
And please, others can ask also for back-up.
