Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.
I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.
Lol no they aren't, most of them probably bought this that also have a high end monitors. The pixels don't just smack you in the face in my experience but you can see them without issue if you look for them, even at normal viewing distance. Your coming from what sounds like a crappy old monitor so you will be impressed. If you put this next to a 1440p 144hz monitor you'll be ready to throw this in the trash.
All this trash talk, yet nobody mentions their GPU.

Running a high end gpu isn't going to magically turn a crappy monitor into a $500 one. It's not going to make pixels smaller. As long as your card can push 1080p with everything cranked up 60fps+ it doesn't matter what your running. This monitor is just passable and thats it. If someone is running Ryzen 2400g and nothing more I can see your point. Running a 1080 btw.

Is anyone having problem with the speaker on this one? When I first set it up the speaker works but now no sound is coming out even though my laptop shows its working. Mute is off on the monitor as well.

Mine just arrived and it is pretty awesome. I originally bought an Asus VG278Q secondhand for $200 and I was hoping this monitor was going to be an upgrade at a lower cost. I'm not so sure which is better. The Acer is definitely more impressive to look at and I've found it enjoyable to use. But if I were to be picky, even with over drive set to extreme, there's a bit of ghosting in the Acer that is not present in the Asus. This is a little surprising because the Acer is advertised as having 1ms response time coupled with a 160 Hz refresh rate. Despite the Acer being a VA and the Asus being a TN, the Acer is technically faster all around, so it should have less ghosting. Right?
Also if you pick one of these up, download the Acer Display Widget software so you can change your settings without fiddling with the monitor buttons. Also I was a little surprised that the monitor is not height adjustable so that is something to keep in mind.

I can't read minds yet, and all GPU's are not created equal. #factsmatter

I don't think this monitor has speakers built-in. I bought two of them and both monitors has no sound.

Mine for sure has the speaker built-in. Sound does come out of it at first, even now if I plug in the headset directly I can hear sound from my headset. I got mine in-store with version S01

Why would that be if they are rated 165hz and 1ms? Can you explain to someone who is new to PC gaming and PC builds. I've only ever used console on my tv. But at the price of these new systems and the size of them I'm thinking to finally just go PC. I been wanting to start streaming anyways. I had planned to use 1 of the 3 I was going to buy to use with ps4 for now. Feel like I'm on a disadvantage on my old 47 inch 60hz tv. I have the original ps4 and the xbox one s. So not worried about 4k right now.
its also not 1ms unless you use their setting which makes it SUPER dark, unusable in my opinion
