Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.
I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.
Mine just arrived and it is pretty awesome. I originally bought an Asus VG278Q secondhand for $200 and I was hoping this monitor was going to be an upgrade at a lower cost. I'm not so sure which is better. The Acer is definitely more impressive to look at and I've found it enjoyable to use. But if I were to be picky, even with over drive set to extreme, there's a bit of ghosting in the Acer that is not present in the Asus. This is a little surprising because the Acer is advertised as having 1ms response time coupled with a 160 Hz refresh rate. Despite the Acer being a VA and the Asus being a TN, the Acer is technically faster all around, so it should have less ghosting. Right?
Also if you pick one of these up, download the Acer Display Widget software so you can change your settings without fiddling with the monitor buttons. Also I was a little surprised that the monitor is not height adjustable so that is something to keep in mind.
Acer Display Widget software thank you. What you think will be the best profile for windows regular use? I dont like the quality and I try play a little bit. Thanks

Ordered 2, 1 came cracked, so gonna return that one.
But WOW, I was expecting GARBAGE, this is Acer @ $155 afterall.
However, with just a tiny bit of calibration. This monitor is basically nailing Blue and Red, It doesn't quite have the gamut stretch to fill green, But it's close enough.
So, it has Black frame insertion (VRB), extreme mode puts it at 60nits, so not really playable.
On normal (VRB), it hits ~120nits (post calibration). That's very playable with the shades drawn.
Pixel response time, wellllll you get that standard VA-Black pixel smearing/ dragging, but that's honestly to be expected, it's really just the nature of VA. If you want non smearing you'd get IPS, but IPS makes movies look like garbage due to extremely low contrast ratio.
Contrast ratio post calibration is ~3500:1, Damn fine.. Movies look GREAT. If you use software compensation instead of the Internal CMS to fix mid-tones, you can get a little higher, 3800:1 is possible.
With VRB strobe turned off, This monitor can hit 300+nits, that's good enough for MADVR's tonemapping to display a solid HDR rendition.
It's been a long time, but I can say with confidence, Acer Doesn't Suck anymore. (2020)
I believe the 1 monitor of mine which cracked during shipping is due to the packaging, if you notice samsung curved monitors have way Thiccer boxes. I think acer should take note of that.
Just a heads up for people that are still following this thread but missed the chance to order one, it has been randomly going in and out of stock (similar to the WM BF TV deals). I was able to order one at 11pm today for pick up at my local store. May be YMMV based on inventory around you, but I was lucky enough to order one. We shall see if I'm actually able to pick it up.

Yeah my local walmart has some in stock pick up.. This was the best 155 monitor ever. I cant even see any pixels close up . maybe because ive never owned a 1440 but hey for 155 its perfect with 165hz and 1ms. i can play csgo and apex with smooth buttery screen.
I'm sorry if I missed this earlier in the thread, but did anyone else receive a LCD monitor instead of an LED. I don't know if i was shipped the wrong monitor, or if Walmart just totally messed up the description on their website which states "Acer 32" Curved 1920x1080 HDMI DP 165hz 1ms Freesync HD LED Gaming Monitor - ED320QR Sbiipx." My model number matches the one on the website so I'm the latter. Just wondering if anyone else noticed?
I keep looking at this but all the reviews mentioning ghosting keep me from pulling the trigger. Smeary motion is really the worst and there's not much that will compensate for it if it's just the limitation of the VA panel.

Anyone have this monitor and can chime in on using it with a console vs. a PC? Good/bad?
I bought this to replace my 42 inch 1080p TV. I have a Xbox one x and you need to make sure you enable 120hz and variable refresh rate to take advantage of the free sync. Gameplay is significantly better for warzone. Everything feels smoother. I haven't bothered calibrating it but picture quality isn't as good as my 4k Vizio TV but that's expected. This would be great for Xbox series S, as you can get 120hz gameplay over 1080p. For the price and size. I think it's a good deal, however this is my first monitor so I have nothing to compare it to.

The settings will not transfer to your monitor. every monitor receives a different factory offset.
You can try it though. The following settings work as a set, you can't pick and choose. Outcome ~120nits @ 165hz, if you use 120hz, it will be dimmer.
Brightness 100
Contrast 50
Blackboost (5) DO NOT mess with this setting, leave it default @ 5, this is a separate contrast setting.
Pixel Response : Extreme
VRB: NORMAL,
RGB Gain 44 50 41
RGB Bias 49 46 46
Hue 50 50 50 50 55 52
Saturation 54 50 50 50 54 58
