its too big for only 1080p, you will be able to see the pixels. not a bad deal its just not ideal on the specs.
Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.

I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.
For a monitor most will agree 1080p on a 32" is doodoo but you do you bro.

I keep looking at this but all the reviews mentioning ghosting keep me from pulling the trigger. Smeary motion is really the worst and there's not much that will compensate for it if it's just the limitation of the VA panel.

Anyone have this monitor and can chime in on using it with a console vs. a PC? Good/bad?
I bought this to replace my 42 inch 1080p TV. I have a Xbox one x and you need to make sure you enable 120hz and variable refresh rate to take advantage of the free sync. Gameplay is significantly better for warzone. Everything feels smoother. I haven't bothered calibrating it but picture quality isn't as good as my 4k Vizio TV but that's expected. This would be great for Xbox series S, as you can get 120hz gameplay over 1080p. For the price and size. I think it's a good deal, however this is my first monitor so I have nothing to compare it to.

Repped for the input! But yes, same boat here. Its for 13 yr old son who is coming from a 75hz 27" 720p monitor, so he has no clue about 4k yet. He plays many ESports and NBA2k games, so wasn't sure if this was ok for that with all the complaints. There is an MSI 27" 1080p at Costco with 144mhz, so debating on whether that would be better.

I'm sorry if I missed this earlier in the thread, but did anyone else receive a LCD monitor instead of an LED. I don't know if i was shipped the wrong monitor, or if Walmart just totally messed up the description on their website which states "Acer 32" Curved 1920x1080 HDMI DP 165hz 1ms Freesync HD LED Gaming Monitor - ED320QR Sbiipx." My model number matches the one on the website so I'm the latter. Just wondering if anyone else noticed?
This is an LED backlit LCD panel. Any time you see "LED" on a product, it just means LED backlit LCD. I had the same concern as you. Check out the linked article first sentence.

I also got a delayed email this morning. I'm not happy. I called and the lady told me it will ship today. Not sure how much I believe of that. If she was wrong walmart going hear about it for sure. Because I can get one today if I'm willing to drive an hour to pick it up which I'm not if they telling me it will ship. But if it doesnt ship and I miss out completely I won't be happy

I don't have a frame of reference for comparing VA panels to other VA panels. But I will say that I have this monitor sitting next to an Asus VG278 TN and the difference when comparing those two is astronomical. If you're used to using TN and ghosting bothers you, probably don't scoop this one. I will also say that based on the limited stuff I've seen online of people pointing a camera at their screen while running a ghosting test on testufo.com, mine looks worse than what I've seen online. Even with VRB and Overdrive on Extreme.

If you don't want to wait , my store had like 20 of these stacked up. I picked one up for my nephew. Figured this is better than his old 21" dell he's been playing on 😂

Dang guys I truthfully like the monitor a lot and it's great. However, I had a dead pixel on my screen already, I've only used for about 3 hours. I'm going to try to exchange it since I didn't even have it for a day.

Note: in order to change your frequency or hertz (on Windows 10). I had to search in advanced display settings on windows, display adapter properties, monitor tab and screen refresh rate. I changed it 144 hz since that was my max. My video card won't go past that so I'm good. I also changed a setting on the monitor itself to extreme for better results. Hope that helps

Woah, this monitors has a 119.879hz mode for proper 5:1 pull down on movies.

That's extremely thoughtful of acer, most makers would skimp.
what does this do ? and can you tell me more what exact setting you are using when gaming

Is it the extreme for the overdrive ? or the VRB Extreme?
