I bought a Westinghouse 50" 4k last year for like 160 and the sound on that TV is utter trash. I wonder how well these Walmart Onn TV's are.
All sound on all TV's is utter trash. Soundbars.

As TV's get thinner and thinner, I've noticed that built in sound on most doesn't seem great. Perhaps this is simply because it is more difficult to make a quality speaker that thin?

I've decided to simply use a really nice pair of car speakers that I got on sale for $20 on closeout and with a coupon. I coupled that with a $50 Pyle amplifier with headphone output & volume control. The sound is MUCH better, and I also now have a way to watch TV as loud as I want right outside of my son's room in the early AM.

Do these onn TVs last? Looking to get the 70" for living room for when we have people over. Don't care about picture quality too much, given that I have a home theater with an LG OLED. Just need a decent TV that'll last, as we plan to hang it up on a wall.

I have a 10yr LG 55" 1080p that refuses to die so I can justify buying a new TV.

Costs more to recycle an old tv than to buy a new one.
Just put it out at the curb with a "Free" sign and someone will come make your problem their problem

ONN? I hope it doesn't turn out they should have named this TV OFF. In a few weeks, that's what it will be if it stops working.
I've had expensive Samsung's not even last more than a year or so...

Just an FYI, 43' =516"
70'=840"

Unfortunately I don't have room for that large of a tv in my house. But by the commotion this is getting,I guess most SDers must live in massive mansions

100% discount if you don't buy it. Also, public good (karma) for those who need it.

I have a Black Friday special 65 inch TCL from Walmart (2yrs ago) and it is a fantastic TV. So some of these deals are not bad.
Not really the same thing. TCL has become a well respected brand these past few years. ONN seems to be Walmart's house brand, so who knows who actually made it?

Having said that, most electronics are pretty reliable.

Does anybody have experience with the 43" as a computer monitor?
TIA
