I sold every gdamm Chromecast android tv in my house and bought all roku integrated TVs from tcl and hisense. Why because the interface just works flawlessly. It has this beautiful to guide for the over the air antenna that is the best I've seen over any other tv brand. Not only that the totally free internet tv content roku pushes out is leaps and bounds the best I've seen next to the vizio. I like the roku interface better tho. The tv and app over the phone turns the tv on as well I can watch free content on my phone too. Not only that the YouTube streaming experience is amazing. It works 100% of the time when I send a video from the phone up the damn thing works. I can't even say the same about cromecast. Hands down I'm blown away by these cheap Wally world / budget TVs that have the roku interface. I have an Apple phone and I'm super happy with the just damn works TVs. I'll never buy a beta android os tv again! Shame on google the big bad tech company with unlimited money it seems. They can't even get a tv interface right without abandoning the os 2 years after release. I can't believe these manufacturers flooding our stores with crap junk hardware that's leaving consumers wondering when they will get updates. My rokus are still getting updates and still supported.

This isn't quite right. The extended warranty isn't for an additional three years, it's three years total, that's even if you register the TV. So with the Citi credit card (excluding Citi Double Cash) on top of that, it's a total of five years. Still not bad for a $300 TV.
The total would still be 4 years. The extended warranty doesn't start at the end of the manufacturers warranty, it starts when you buy it no matter what the Walmart employee might say. When you get the paperwork it states that it runs from the purchase date through the length of the purchased extended warranty.

It's just depends which entity is easier to deal with on getting a problem resolved. This way you would have the options of Manufacturer, Warranty company, or credit card.

I have no idea about the quality or how long they lost, but if you have a Citi Credit Card, that'll get you +2 year extension. Then you can pay the extra $13 for +3 year extension. After that, you can register your TV for another +2 year extension. That'll come out to 7 years that it's covered by warranty.
This scenario would still only come out to 4 years total because the extended warranty starts when you purchase the TV not after the manufacturers warranty (of 2 years) ends.

I have a spectre 65" that's 4K but no HDR. This has to be a superior panel even slightly. I can sell the 65" I have on Craigslist for at least 300 and boom, money made back. Does anyone think it's a bad idea? I can't imagine this tv being worse than my spectre 4K with no HDR lol
Can anything be worse than a spectre ?

I see some comments about the speakers but I wonder how bad they are. I am debating getting this for my son. He already has a nice TCL 32" 1080p tv he got this past April. The speakers on the TCL are not great either but he doesn't care. I am thinking about the 43" since he is getting an xbox series s in november and maybe this would be an upgrade tv wise? I know the xbox series s isn't a 4k system, but I know games will be up to 1440p so I figured this might be a good option. Plus it has HDR which is a bonus.

I bought this tv the last time it was on here. Not the best quality, speakers are terrible. They occasionally cut in and out (I have to unplug the unit to get them back on completely sometimes) and don't go very loud. Also it looses wifi connection quite a bit.

Who makes the Onn panels? that will be enough info for me.
I think I've read, but I am not sure, that Onn is made by TongFang with ChiMei panels.

I imagine even toying with the idea of using this as a work monitor for my laptop dock is silly and text will look like ass.

If I'm using this for gaming and don't care about sound (I have a headset), why wouldn't I buy this?

43" shows as $88 and 70" shows as $448 for me. I'll look to score the 43".
