That 43" is intriguing. Don't need it, but I am tempted for $88.

$184.00 for me. Will the price auto update to $88 when the time comes?

I just seen a previous deal that had either this or a very similar, possibly older version for $69. I wonder if it will go down more after this sale.
That was the Brickseek deal from July, I assume? Brickseek deals like that are closeouts when Walmart is almost sold out of an item and needs to clear the shelves immediately for a new one. You have to go to the store to get that price, and they are also almost always wild goose chases when a really desireable item is involved. Brickseek uses Walmart's notoriously inaccurate inventory information to guess whether a store might have one. Even if Brickseek says the store inventory shows "in stock", you'll get there and it will be sold out. Obviously, the Walmart employees like $69 TVs too, so it takes a LOT of good luck to snag one of those deals.

Would the 70" be okay in a tavern for watching football?

I have a 10yr LG 55" 1080p that refuses to die so I can justify buying a new TV.
I'm sure your LG will last longer than three more TV's like this one. I came here to post the same thing about my Toshiba 47" 1080p from 2007. One of the three HDMI ports doesn't work but it's only a minimal annoyance. The input for the Blu-ray player is labelled "HD DVD" because that's the closest option available.

Its probably similar performance to all the other 43" ~$200 4k tvs right now. They are basically all the same components since hardly anyone is making 43" panels.
