Does this support 4K 120?
Look for a receiver that supports 8k or hdmi 2.1

Crutchfield says only 75 watts per channel
How many watts are you expecting? People obsess over wattage specs too much. The difference between 75 watts and 150 watts is three decibels, if your speakers can even handle that power.

I am only asking a question since it says in the listing as 165 watts per channel

Would this be good to go with the 800$ klipsch set costco has? Think I'ma buy that and then the 299 klipsch sub. Should be a good system right?

Not seeing the Yamaha TSR-700 on Costco's site anymore. I was torn between this Denon and that Yamaha when it was available. Ultimately went with the Denon and will be requesting a price adjustment next week. I was replacing a Yamaha RX-V673 that died a slow death (audio cutting out that gradually got worse), so I decided to give a different brand a try. Yamaha's companion mobile app is better than Denon's, but that's my only complaint so far.
That old app (which was great) does not work with the new receiver. The new app is MusicCast and at present it is bad.

Yamaha's front design is quirky though.
That is what I was thinking looking at the launch video, I just got mine yesterday and to me it looks... alright. A bit modern even.

dB is a logarithmic scale - 3 is a lot.

It's probably 165 in 2 channel mode. I think Yamaha is 100watts in two channel mode.

Sorry if I sounded overly snarky. Not sure where the discrepancy lies as far as wattage. I've just seen a slickdealer or a million go overboard worshipping watts. They're somewhat like horsepower for a car, they don't make the end result.

Should be fine as long as your room isn't abnormally large and with high ceilings. This will be on my winter shopping list.

Denon AVR-S750H - 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.08% THD, with 2 channels driven

Yamaha TSR-700 - 100 W (8 ohms, 0.06% THD) Rated Output Power (20Hz-20kHz, 2ch driven)

The 75 watts is rms wattage and the 150 could be max wattage? I think crutchfield does the customers a solid and only posts rms figures

Every 3db is a double in volume which is significant. Either get more efficient speakers or get more power and over driving speakers is an issue when you drive excessive distortion into them. Once the smoke comes out they'll never work again.
