Be careful to make sure this is appropriate for you. It was the new Qualcomm SQ1 processor. It might be great for some graphics intensive apps and give better battery life, but you might sacrifice application compatibility. Check if the tools you use will run on this processor first.

I used my tablet for media consumption, and reading news and listening to podcast. Most of which are browser based.

I need a good screen and okayish speakers.

Will this work me?

$1475 with 16gb of RAM and 256gb SSD. Can the RAM on this be upgraded relatively easily? I'd consider this if it was keyboard and stylus/pencil included, but that probably going to be another $250-300.

SSD can be upgraded with a 2230 m.2 nvme, RAM cannot be upgraded. And yes the keyboard / pen combo is just under $300.

Tablet = iPad, hands down

As much as I'd like to have more options but that's the bitter truth.

Hardware looks beautiful but as others have said, hard to recommend performance-wise unless you're in a very specific use case. I think if you're interested in something like this, I think the next gen of ARM based computers will be when we start seeing better parity with traditional chips.
