That's a fair point; I'm only listing MA movies above. And there are definitely other winners in the sale. I'll update.

I am surprised you use IMDB for ratings. everything good on there is between 5-7. I never trust their ratings.

I quickly checked on two I liked:

Zodiac is 7.7
Let the Right One In is 7.9

Unfortunately, neither is MA.

I bought the Troll Hunter [vudu.com].
I already own and would recommend Let the Right One In [vudu.com] and Tucker and Dale vs Evil [vudu.com].
Zodiac is great, but I would prefer it if VUDU would put the Director's Cut [vudu.com] on sale. Otherwise, I've seen better movies go on sale at Fandango Now lately. VUDU sales continue to get worse and worse, I feel. Beginning to wonder about its viability long term...

Slither is a fun but gross movie. There are many great one liners in it. I have watched it several times and it's always a great time.

The gross parts are the film involves shunting, which is two or more bodies melding and fusing together.

The cast is filled with greats. James Gunn hasn't written or directed an awful movie yet ❤️

This salshas an easy solid dozen, if not more, great films on par with those you named. Some are not "repeat viewing" films but are fun.

Blackcoat's Daughter is a really good time but also streams often and may be on netflix still.
