Looks like a 3-day experiment to see how it does. It just happens that I was wanting to head over there for something that would barely qualify for one of these.
Harbor Freight nixed a lot of the free items with any purchase so they must be increasing the value of the free item while also raising the purchase requirement to see how it does.

I like the concept as I feel ripped off spending $100 and getting the same free item as someone who spent 50 cents.

Have to split up your purchases. Easy for me to say bc I drive past one everyday. If you want tobsave at HF you really have to plan ahead or just buy stuff you don't need just yet...and maybe never will, haha

I understand what you are saying but there is the occasional big purchase like a $90 predator engine.

Bummer bc i can use some more of those blue handle philips/flathead screwdrivers to stash around the home and office.

The only free thing you can get lately is the blue flashlight - not that any of the other free things was really any good. It would be nice to have a choice of some better stuff even if that means a minimum.
I stopped in there today looking for a toolbox (which they didn't have) but I was surprised to see that HFQPDB had a coupon for a free lantern w/p. Didn't get to use it though,....

The blue flashlight is always OOS at the two HFs near me.
The coupon you saw on HFQPDB is the same as the one here, requires $24.99 purchase.

Ahh, good point. Hopefully you had a coupon for that!
