Good find, thank you! Wondering if these will drop a little more later in the holidays but with a 60-Day price match...
UPDATE: FWIW, this deal combines with the Microsoft store 60-day return and price match policy that is good on all Duo purchases until October 31st.
Additionally it is valid for the return incentives by Microsoft, up to $700 back on a trade-in. While you only get high prices for recent phones, a Pixel 3 base model gets you $350 returned.
TLDR;
If you purchase at the Microsoft Store, You get a $200 immediately off, a price match policy that lasts until the day before Christmas Eve, and up to $700 trade in value depending on your device. I know the shortcomings of the Gen1 device but I bit. Hope this helps others!
The specs are fine. There is a video of a guy on YouTube running 2 instances of PUBG at the same time (one on each screen) without any issues.
The problem with the device is the buggy software which is still being worked on by microsoft. Likewise, the camera is subpar, but the pictures look a ton better if you use a modified google camera app, once again showing that it is a software issue more than a hardware issue. Those issues could be fixed over time, but there is no guarantee.
the only hardware fault that I see is the lack of NFC for contactless payments, so you'll need a smartwatch for Google Pay.

The Duo has some very serious build quality issues. The plastic around the USB-C port is so thin that it is prone to cracking, the hinges can break, and the screen has a tendency to bulge. Issues have been documented in many places:
If you have a device you want to trade for additional credit, I found that the Microsoft Store offered a higher trade in value than Best Buy. MS store offered $100 higher for my Galaxy Note 8 that's collecting dust in my drawer.
The idea is brilliant, but like all other first gen dual screen / folding screen phones, it's more promise than delivery. Gen 2 or 3 might be worth it. Gen 1 isn't.

What's missing in the specs?

I would wait for the next version which will hopefully have better quality control.Or wait even longer for the next generation because I don't hear very good things about this one lol
