Thanks, tool deals. Keep an eye out for that 6 tools all Brushless kit with the Flexvolt advantage grinder and circular saw. It comes in a DeWalt Toughsystem 1.0. Home Depot took it off their website but I ordered one just in time.

We already have all of the 20v XR items, many in duplicate. Next is the 60v about the same time they will come out with 120v batteries... lol... makes one feel like you might be chasing down a rabbit hole. And still, the plug in tools from my Grandfather are still chugging along.
I am still using a 120v DeWalt DW268 screwgun with Versa-clutch on a regular basis, that is at least 30 years old that drives #14 screws and Tapcons with no effort... it will break them if you stand on it. I bought the battery equivalent DCF622 at a higher price and it just does not have it. In fact, I bought another DW268 in case they quit making that model. There is almost always power someplace and maintenance is as simple as replacing cords, cleaning and greasing with the occasional brushes every decade or so.
Oh, I see guys setting up battery operated miter boxes/chop saws as stationary tools on job sites and just smile. Run the fricking cord once and have more power and a cheaper priced tool without concern if the spare batteries are charged up yet. In fact, our job trailer has Onan onboard electric just in case, but seldom need it.... there is always power close by.
