Saw this on my Business Platinum again, this morning. It's good through next April and back in time for Black Friday.
Quote :

Offer valid for purchases made on Dell.com/amex or by phone at 855-315-5552 only. Valid only on US website. Not valid for gift card or e-gift card purchases. Not valid on purchases shipped outside the US, Puerto Rico, USVI and Guam. See merchant website for delivery availability in your market. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of $1,500 in total statement credits per Card Member. The enrolled Card account must not be cancelled or past due to receive statement credits. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 4/26/2021, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer.

Not really helpful. Amex Offer T&C almost always exclude purchase of gift cards, yet purchase of gift cards triggers cashback more often than not even when specifically excluded. Looking for actual DPs.
If it is from outlet, it does show Dell outlet. If they still manage to give you the credit, good luck.

Dammit, found out i already used the $100 Dell bi-annual credit; otherwise combining the two would be really slick
Why bi-annual ?

With the Amex Biz Plat card you get $100 credit with Dell every 6 months, I used mine in July. There's no minimums or anything neither which is really nice, I bought a $160 headset for $60 basically.

Last year I stacked this $100 credit together with a similar 10% back offer for a laptop too.

Same here. Ordered an XPS 15 last week that was still in pre-production (on a different credit card). I called my salesperson to switch the credit card and she hemmed and hawed about not being able to switch it, and if she did, my "best price" wouldn't be available today. So I politely hung up.

I went online, cancelled the order, and placed another order. Combined a 10% Dell coupon as a new member and 10% amex. Saved an easy $300+.

I wonder if the Dell sales people get a commission. As soon as I cancelled, I received a call from her, asking why I cancelled.

Update (11/3): I received a call from her manager today.

The dell.com/amex URL basically takes you to the Dell Business site. I see nothing in the terms that excludes purchases from Dell Home and it is quite easy to get there by choosing a different shopping cart. I just did this which allowed me to use a different coupon that didn't work on the Dell Business site. I did receive an email from AMEX that I redeemed the offer so apparently this is OK.

However, Dell Home cash back is max 4% today while Dell Business max cash back is 12% today only. May be a good deal when combined with this AMEX offer.

Got this on my Simply Cash Plus business card.

Quick question - I've taken advantage before on this offer by buying anything on Dell.com with the Amex. I noticed that this offer says you have to buy specifically through the amex section on Dell. Anyone with experience here? Does it usually say that and you still get the credit without going through the Amex section? Or is this new?
As long as you have the offer added to your cart, it should work. Don't have to go through through Amex website. You can get up to 13% CB now from some sites. I just had $1300+ purchase with 10% Amex offer + 13% CB.

It does not work on Dell Outlet. It is specifically stated in the terms. I have been successful doubling up with this and CB. Start with Dell.com/Amex and then activate CB afterwards.
How do you start with Dell.com/Amex and then activate CB afterwords?

If I understand you correctly, you

1. Go through dell.com/amex to make a purchase (buy a notebook, say for example)

2. leave the notebook in the cart

3. activate the CB in another session but on the same browser which will take you to dell.com, go to the cart which should have the notebook you just ordered through dell.com/amex.

4. Pay with Amex

Correct? Your comments will be much appreciated.

I think that should work, but I use the CB chrome extension and just click on it when in cart before checking out.
