This is a 30', 1.5" rope, which is on the lower end of the more common lengths and thicknesses (insert joke here) for battle ropes, which means it's on the lighter and easier to use side, all else equal. Good for beginners, or those without the space for 40' or 50' ropes.

Good article on basics of these ropes:

Seems like a solid deal to me if you're looking to get started with ropes, especially given availability of fitness items these days. You may end up wanting to upgrade eventually -- if you even stick to using them -- but this could give you a headstart on combating the holiday meals and NY's resolutions Smilie
"Folds" in half at the anchor point, so would be 15' each side.
I bought a 30 ft 2inch rope and it's perfect for my garage. i'm a 5'9 160lbs dude that's in decent shape and my rope gives me a good workout.
FYI you need to do timed drills, like 1 to 2 minutes with 30 sec rest in between

Don't you normally need two of these?

I used a 30 feet for my 10 year old. For adult, it might not be hard enough though.

In for 1, thx!!! The coupon didn't work for the one with the protective sleeve, oh well. Still $38 for a great addition to my morning run.

Good for a starter and short for in-door use. Weather is turning cold, mainly uses in-door. Got one. Smilie
