This kit has a flashlight considered as a tool so I'd say this is really a 5 kit tool. Also I think you need to update the description because it looks like this comes with a 4ah battery according to the HD site. Having said that the batteries are the almost the same 1.5+4ah for ryobi, 2+4ah for DeWalt, then DeWalt comes with a sander instead of a reciprocating saw. I started out with a similar combo as this and upgraded most of the tools over time to brushless, only have the multi tool and flashlight from this original kit. If you're looking to do some DIY projects around the house the ryobi is more than enough and a reciprocating saw is more useful than a sander, can always buy a cheap corded one, I personally don't see much need for a battery/cordless sander. The Ryobi multitool is great as well and I use it all the time because you can buy ridgid jobmax heads that work on it as well. The DeWalt will be better quality but you're getting a lot more bang for your buck with ryobi which will be more than enough for most projects
Price is $199. You might want to include that in the title

I've been looking to pick up a set of tools for some DIY repairs and projects around the house. Is this a good set/price or should I wait for Black Friday? I see these are brushed tools but does that really matter for small projects around the house?

Was given this set for father's day. Nice bundle. I will say the multi tool is not best and after using it and looking into some reviews on that particular tool others agree. Overall very pleased with the other tools in the set and for $199 it's well worth it if you're in the market.
